Each child develops differently and at different times. PLEASE dont think your a bad parent just cause you hear another child speaking two languages. I can almost bet that chinese is also spoken at home. I think that if you want to, you can introduce a few words into a childs vocabulary. Try to associate a word with an item he/she likes like a doll or sippy cup. When my son was 2 yrs old we taught him to count in German from one to ten but we never kept up with it. So he never learned anymore. Our fault. Its easier for them to learn when before the age of 8. So if you want them to learn a second or third language start now. keriaz Joined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1719	Title: An Update!!! Posted: 1 years ago Hello! Here is an update on my health! This morning I had to go to my Cardiologist to have a check up and to check my results of my echo-cardiogram. If you remember I have what the Dr's called an Injection Fracture (heart not pumping out blood well). I was down to 30% in early April when I was first diagnosed. Todays results it is up to 45%. Dr. says that is close to normal. (normal being 50%) So he beleives that the cause of my heart problem stems from my cancer. I have never in my life had a problem with my heart until a year ago. So my Dr was quite pleased with my progress. Wants to see me again in 3 months for a checkup. Also today I had another Chemo treatment. My 5th one! One more to go which will happen Aug 13th! Cant wait. Im soo happy that this is almost over and I can return to a normal life. (normal???? whats that?) July 12th I had my gallbladder removed cause it really had started to cause me problems. I was getting sick and what not. Two days before I was developing pain in my side so they decided to put me into the hospital to remove the problem. So now I have 5 itty bitty dissolvable stitches. That is almost healed. I am feeling so much better now then I did in early April. I cannot wait to get back to work. I have missed it so much. This staying at home stinks. So now that I am feeling better I am slowly preparing myself to return to work. I have lost some muscle mass so now I am lifting weights. Dr says its ok and I am going with low weights and going slow. Im not gonna over do it. I am eating well and have gained 5lbs. I am also feeling good enough that when I go to the grocery store that I am not using the electric carts that they have. Feel goofy but I just couldnt walk around very long without tiring out. And all I have to do it take a 25mg heart pill to keep my heart rate down. Nice to get into the pool and to actually do stuff around the house. Yes I will be careful. I drink plenty of water and hubby has plenty of bottles of water in the fridge for me to drink. Ya its nice to be able to work out and to go swim. Oh the feel of the nice cool water. One just doesnt understand what its like not to be able to take a full shower but only sponge baths cause you cant get the tube and patches wet. Now that I am tubeless I take showers twice a day. FEELS SOOOOOOO GOOD! Solamente el fuertes sobreviven - Only the Strong Survive!

Finally went and bought some sleepin pills. I slept really well last night. I feel better today except for a headache. Oh well. Cant win em all. But its job security here. Too many idiots here and they keep me busy when I am at work. I can work anywhere as an EMT. But I just cant afford to move. Good Luck on your decision!
