At first it was kinda shocking cause you are use to having hair but I know it will grow back. I just dont understand why people are so stuck on thier hair and apperance. I never have been one to care much. My mother always said that I should wear makeup and so forth cause people might say something. I told my mom that I didnt care what others think. I worry about my ownself not what other peoples opinions are. As long as my hair is brushed out I dont care if I wear make up or style my hair. BUT stupid drivers keep me in a job as an EMT! Here in the winter its worse cause of all the snowbirds are here and they dont seem to know our traffic laws and get into accidents alot. Also people just do not pay any attention to thier surroundings. My biggest complaint is while I am at work and I have to go code three which means Im running with lights and sirens and moving fast that people do NOT merge to the right and stop! I can get right up on top of a car and they will not move. Hello??? whats that pretty flashing light beind ya dumb dumb?! Sorry but that just burns my buttons! keriaz Joined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1719	Title: First day back to work! Posted: 2 yearss ago Well I survived my first day back to work with Southwest Ambulance yesterday! It was a 24 hr shift. It was a pretty easy shift cause it is the summer time and our call volume is lower. Had 4 calls and only two were transported to the hospital. I feel pretty good and my partner really helped me alot with the lifting. Soon as I get this dang tube out I wont have a problem anymore!! Grrrrrr. But I am back into the swing of things and it feels sooooooo good! Solamente el fuertes sobreviven - Only the Strong Survive!

We see alot of kids that are getting high these days and sometimes they arent making it. Its pretty scary. We as parents need to teach our kids that they shouldnt take anything from anyone that they dont know. And explain also that things our kids friends are doing arent the best for them. Just say NO! To help restart a heart after it has stopped or deliever a baby is the best feeling. Ya I have lost a few patients over the course of my two years as an EMT but that is something that is gonna happen. Havent lost one in my ride YET thankfully. Im just happy to be back out in it. She smarts off alot and she does have a temper. Her nationality doesnt help matters either. She is 1/4 hispanic, she is norwiegin, irish, and german. That explains the hot temper! LOL. Drivers out there that do not pull over for emergency vehicles that have thier lights and sirens going. THATS my BIGGEST thing that makes me flip. I can go on and on and on but maybe I shouldnt. LOL. Its kinda hard to put out your words for others to see. You gotta feel comfortable to do so. Maybe some of your feelings you have put down on paper might help someone else out there. Have you checked online for publishing companies? I dont know much about publishing anything but I would think the net could help ya.
