I dont know much about breathing treatments for infants or toddlers. Is it a face mask they have to wear like over thier noses and mouths??

What we do in the EMS field is called a blow by. Little ones usually dont like things on thier faces  so what we do is hold the oxygen mask close to thier face. Might want to try that.

Ok. I have two children. One boy and one girl. When I was pregnant with my son I wasnt sick but I thought it was because I slept all day and played all night. I was 19 when I got preg. I was also big but that is because I was hungry ALL the time. I have heard about the wives tale. I carried low with the first and it turned out to be a boy.

With my daughter I was nauseous in the first trimester. And I carried high with her. I knew in my heart also that she was a girl. And a fiesty one at that. She tried to come a month early. Had a UTI and was told to lay off the soda. EEEEEKK!! No soda? Felt like I was having a heart attack. So I knew she was a girl. Been a pain in the rear from the time she was born. Normally after birth newborns will sleep but not my daughter. She stayed awake for two hours!! She always hated naps. Sheesh.

Ok! Ill be the first!

My parents are not my biological parents but that doesnt matter. I was adopted. My parents sheltered me WAAAAAY too much! My mother was and still is a hardcore christian.  No ifs ands or buts about it. My mother was a SAHM and my Dad worked for First Interstate Bank as a computer analystist. He wrote the program for the ATMs at First Interstate Banks.

I never paid much attention to thier parenting skills until I was 15. Then I was looking forward to movin out.

Right now my parents live in New Mexico. They moved in 1996. Took my Grandparents and my niece and nephew with them. My Grandparents are now gone and my Nephew has moved out. Hes 18 now. My Neice who is turning 19 soon. She is in college.

It wasnt the easiest but my home was a loving home.

This whole thing isnt over and probably wont be for years.
They still dont know why she died. Gotta wait for the toxicologist report. If what they were saying she had a fever of 105degrees why in the world did they not take her to the ER?? That is something very dangerous. She had some sort of a raging infection. Bet in the end she died from this. She probably was septic or in layman's terms she might have had a blood infection.

But the court battle for the old man's money continues on still. A judge in LA (I beleive) says to hold the body for 10 days to do a DNA test. So now there are three men that are claiming to be the baby's Father. Za Za Gabor's hubby is claiming parentage. Sheesh. Her own mother is traveling to the bahama's to file for custody of the baby.  This small child has alot of heartache in her future. At least for awhile. Sheesh.

Same here. I went to school and even in the 9th grade I was home taught. Only cause I wanted it.  But I didnt like going to church all the time. I beleive that you can have Christ in your heart but not going to church isnt gonna make you end up in hell. God doesnt care where you go and worship him as long as you do. Not my mother's thinking. It drove me away. When I got married I went nuts. Wore short skirts, black clothes, drank beer and such.

Oh well.

Right now there are firefighters there prepared to check and make sure your carseat is installed properly. Not to mention there are other things going on down there. Today they are havin a Grand Opening for thier new ER department.

PLEASE if you have time this morning to stop by and get your car seats checked.

How was my Valentine???? IT STUNK!!!!

We had a bad bad call at midnight last night. Of course she wasnt wearing her seatbelt and she went out the window. Found a 21 yr old girl on the ground in a pool of blood. We got her in the ambulance and I was doing CPR on her. Man.

In the end she was brain dead. I have only slept 2 hrs.  So it was a bad night.

My husband did sneak a valentine card into my work pack and I found it. Was really cute. We had our Valentine a day before.

Glad alot of you had a great time. Monday my daughter gave me a V-day card that she made. It was really cute.

I was born in Seattle, Washington. I lived from the time I was born until I was placed with my Adoptive Parents in 9 different foster homes.

After being placed with my parents we lived in Everett, Washington. From there we moved to Phx, Az and rented a house for about 6 months. Then we moved to Tempe, AZ.

I loved living there and growing up.  A peaceful and safe neighborhood. I would love to move back there.

Mine still arent normal nearly 12 yrs later. Thats ok. I cant have kids anymore anyways. Just hate not being consistant and really never knowing when its gonna happen. Im thinking even tho I got a tubal done that I want to be on that Seasonelle so that I have my periods 4 times a year. HATE these damn things.

I would like to get the procedure that ends periods all together. But I just dont have any money.
