You may even look back on it and miss it a little bit as he gets older.

I dont think I will ever miss the no sleep deal. My kids are 13 yrs old and 11 yrs old. I remember my kids when they were babies. My son had issues with sleeping only cause he was in the NICU at birth. He was 2 wks late. Everytime he heard alarms he would wake up screaming. My daughter started sleeping all night at the age of 2 wks. First time she slept all night it scared me cause I thought something was wrong. I slept all night and she did too.

We did the rice in the bottle thing also. Helped both my kids. They were eating rice when they were two months old.

Now the only reason I dont get sleep these days is because of my job. Im an EMT so we get calls at all hours of the day and night. Sheeesh.

Ya know I would just look at her with a dumb look in your eye and just smile and nod.

Or you could just say Mom! Thanks for your advice but I think I got it here!

Ive gotten this far and it seems she is still living.

My daughter loves Math and my Son loves Lunch period.

We are planning on going to my Parents place in May to visit and see my nephew graduate from High school. After that I come back to work.

Spend time in the pool or inside. Will take the kids to Sunsplash water park.

People always tell me that my daughter looks like me. I can tell she takes after me as I am a tomboy and she is a tomboy. She is thin as I was at her age until I got preg.

Personally I think it is a smart idea. We do random drug testing for kids so why not beer? Its illegal for them to drink under age. So it should be tested. Not to mention seeing those kids driving and thinking ok which one is impaired or slightly impaired.

I hate to run on those kinds of calls. I went on a wreck last year where there was heavy damage to one car at 7am and the driver was drunk. Thankfully no injuries.

Im planning on taking my 13 yr old and my 11 yr old to go see it.

I think it would be ok for those in 5th and 6th grade. About that age they are probably studying the human anatomy.  My kids are excieted to see it.

Well all this week I have been spending the day in class for my recertification for my EMT Basic. Today was skills and testing day. I have good news.

I PASSED! Sometimes it can be hard to verbalize things when you are use to just do it. Now I just need to pay and turn in my forms.

Definately find someone to give ya a hand every so often. More adult hands is helpful in your situation and anyones really. Yes I agree to stop and take a deeeeep breath. Seems like you are overwhelmed with that many babies in the house but you will make it! I dont know your situation and why you have custody of your newphews. But you will do good! Ask for help when you need it! Dont be ashamed to ask. I hope your hubby is helping out when he can.

Good Luck. We are here if you need to rant!

I think there are alot of people out there that need to have some sort of training before they have kids. And yes I think this is a good idea. Gives some hope that they arent going nuts or lost.

Hey! First off! Congratulations on being a new dad and for sticking with it instead of running.

My thoughts exactly with what everyone else has been saying. Cant see it as being colic cause it just started.

Have you changed formulas or trying new foods?? Have you tried a new food for him? That could be it. Also think it might be the teething. Have you tried rubbing his gums with your clean finger? Do you rock him when he is fussy?  Alot of parents are out late at night driving around the block with thier fussy ones.

But dont be afraid to contact your doc.

There is no excuse for a child screaming around a resturant even if its McDonalds.  Mine have always been good since they were toddlers. People have always commented about how well they behave.

No I dont think you are in the wrong with your feelings about parents not controling thier kids.  I think its disgusting and rude.

I agree with everyone.  Its ok for you to say hey its not a good idea today to hold her. Also make sure EVERYONE washes thier hands.

Hard to keep germs under control but washing is the best.

Not having any superbowl thing. I probably wont even watch the game.

Rather watch Ghost Hunters that comes on the SciFi channel.
