Sorry to hear that. Yes that is a stomach virus that he has gotten a hold of. Make sure you give him that pedilyte. Dr will tell ya to go with the BRAT diet until he is no longer vomiting or having the runs. Keep things light on his tummy. Wouldnt give milk cause that will curdle in his tummy. Yuck. Plenty of fluids. Little ones can get dehydrated quickly.

For now I would suggest soups, jello, popsicles(i know its wintertime), toat plain, saltine crackers.

Another good way to bring down a high fever is to put him in a lukewarm bath. Or in this case abit warmer then lukewarm. Set him in the water and pour water on him or use a wash cloth.  Thats how I did it with my kids when they were babies. Motrin is ok also. Shouldnt upset his tummy.  Glad he is doing abit better. Just keep an eye on him.

Hi all.

Last night I took my 11yr old daughter Caitlynn to her very first concert. We went together to see Justin Timberlake and Pink. WOW what a show! I have gone to several of them so I knew to have ear plugs available for her to wear. She was so excited to go and to see her favorite guy Justin! The show started at 7:30pm and was over by 10:30pm. Wow we were pretty tired by the time we got home at midnight. I just woke up about 20 min ago and she got up about 9am.

Has anyone taken their child to a concert??

Well that is a good idea. If it hasnt gonna away for a couple day with a small child its best to see the doc. Poor thing. Poor you guys too. Hard to have a small child or infant that is sick. Usually they cant tell you whats wrong. I always hated that.

Yes it has happened several times. There has been at least 2 college students here that have died from water poisoning. Go figure you can have water poisoning. But drinking water too quickly and in excess can cause you to die from it. What happens is when you drink that much water too quickly your body cannot absorb the water appropriately. It causes the tissues in the body to swell and it causes your electrolytes to be off kilter. Ultimately it will cause death.

oooo I quite agree. His dancing is better in person then in the video. LOL. Wish I could have been closer but my daughter is not old enough for the pits yet.

I live over on Power and Broadway in East Mesa and saw snow falling but it melted before it had a chance to stick. It snowed up near my place of work off of Greenfield and McKellips.

I saw this on Oprah.  And I understand why Shawn looked uncomfortable. One he has just been reunited with his family after being gone for 4 years. Two He was traumatized by this evil man that he probably has a hard time trusting other adults. Three He was probably told not to say much for fear of jepordizing the case.

What made Shawn stay? He was terrified to leave. Im sure the guy told him that if he tries to escape that he will kill the boy and possibly his family.  I believe the guy just terrorized him for days on end.

Just like the Elizabeth Smart girl. She was in plain sight and nobody knew it.
