Rhonda said:

It infuriates me when I hear about women being made to feel like criminals for doing something that nature intended.

I know I don't want to see anyone flash their ginormous boobs in public while nursing but give me a break, they flash their ginourmous boobs with their low-cut shirts and no-bras sometimes too (non-nursing women)  but I don't see anyone saying THAT is against the law (especially men)!

I totally agree!!!! I dont ever remember it being such a prolem as it is these days. I always covered up but since I am such a shy person I would also just go in the car and breastfeed if we were out in public. But i never had a problem seeing another mom breastfeed, to me its a natural thing. I guess the thing that really makes me mad is what Rhonda said. No one seems to care if a non-nursing woman is flashing her boobs. That is whats irritating!!

Thansk for the info.

I heard this story over the weekend and I am so happy everything turned out okay. Its amazing she walked that far with the placenta still attached!! Like everyone said you usually hear the bad stores about young moms throwing their babies away....I am so HAPPY she chose to do the right thing.

I was able to sleep in and dh took all the kids with him to the grocery store while i was sleeping. Then the kids gave me the stuff they made in school. Steven made a flower and Alexis wrote 10 things she loves about me! Aw, it was so sweet. Then for the rest of the day I didnt have to do anything...Dh even did the dishes!! It was a nice relaxing day!!

I used to have a big purse but noticed I was putting everything that could fit in there and it was just too much. So now I have a small purse with my wallet, cellphone, glasses, A LOT of change, some receipts, and right now I have the backyardigans cd case in there. I bring that along when we pick up the kids from school for Jacob to watch.

Jacob seems to always be saying something funny. Just today after we took the kids to school as we got out of our car he screams "Its windy time!!" Its really windy here in AZ today and he was so excited. We sat outside for a few minutes watching leaves and such blow around. It was funny. Who knew wind was so exciting!!

I LOVE Nick at Nite!! I am also a big Home Improvement fan. I can watch that show over and over again! My fave nick at nite shows are Roseanne, Full House, & Home Improvement....If that was all they ever played I would be just fine. As for new shows Wonder Years would be a good one and also My 2 Dads (does anyone remember that show??) I really liked that show when it was on.

I also did cereal at 3 months. At first Jacob refused it so I added formula instead of water and he was a little more open to it but still didnt like it! At about 4 months I started adding fruit to his cereal which helped out a lot! At that point he was used to eating with a spoon and I was able to feed him more stage 1 foods along with his cereal.
