All the advice said above is great...it definetly is a stage...just stay firm like said before and just try to explain what is going on. I try to let Jacob know that when he whines I cant understand him and he needs to be a big boy and tell me...and under no circumstances do I ever give him anything when he is whining....I wait until he calms down first. I get great advice and I get to share photos of my kids in a safe and friendly environment. As for my favorite song....well, that changes constantly. Instead I found this....this seems like it would be easier to use. Im sure once I buy the cup, then he'll be over the whole water on the face and we'll have no use for the cup anymore. I do use my hand to block the water which works most of the time but I was hoping maybe the cup would be easier! I have also tried turning on the shower head on but he screams and wants out....he hates it! I have also used his little watering can...he thinks its pretty funny watching the water come out....but it doesnt do a good job of rinsing. So I'll try what has been suggested and hopefully that'll work!! THANKS!!!! Heather
