azheatherJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1038 | Posted: 2 yearss ago I have defninitely found that marking on a calendar bill due dates helps keep bills paid on time. My mom bought me a huge white board from costco and the minute a bill comes in the mail I mark with red marker the due date. I have the board in the kitchen right by the door. That way everytime I walk in or out I am always reminded of due dates! Heather

azheatherJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1038 | Posted: 2 yearss ago Scary stuff! I am glad to hear your baby was ok. Last year Jacob also had a really bad stomach bug. Vomitting, diarhea...it was horrible. Dehydration is such a scary thing, I always worry whenever he gets sick like that.

azheatherJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1038 | Posted: 2 yearss ago You might be surprised...it might not be that bad at all. I got pretty lucky with all 3 kids. None of them had really bad teething moments. They all had mild temps, and tons of drooling, but that was about it. I remember with Jacob...it was a Sunday & he slept almost all day...so I was really worried that he was getting sick...well by the next morning his little tooth had finally broken through. I couldnt believe it.....he had basically slept through it!

I prefer safer than sorry ops for babies. keep us posted I agree. My mom had a fever for a few days and chose to ignore it. When she realized she wasnt getting any better she went in to the dr, and found out she had a UTI ( urinary tract infection) also. She was told if she had left it any longer her kidneys would have started to shut down. I also say safer than sorry......I hope he gets feeling better! Heather

azheatherJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1038 | Posted: 2 yearss ago I am so sorry. I cant imagine how hard this must be for you and your girls. Just remember we are ALL here for you. I am sure adjusting to being a single mom will be tough, but you will be ok. Make sure to ask for help from friends and family when needed....I know as women we try to do everything ourselves...even when we cant. Get all the help and support you need...and remember it might hurt right now, but there will be a day when you will look back and the pain and sadness will be gone. Take care! Heather

azheatherJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1038 | Posted: 2 yearss ago I like both zoos...although there are pros and cons to both. Wildlife world zoo is great to see the animals up close. The first time we went I was so amazed at seeing the tigers so close. You really get a feel for just how big they really are. The thing I didnt like was 1. they had way too many birds! I love to see birds, but they were everywhere.....I mean how types of Macaws can 1 zoo have?? The other thing was they really didnt have places for good pics. They a lot of trees...but no flowers, or any cute areas. As for the Phx Zoo...they have tons of places for pics. We have so many cute pics of the kids posing with the statues they have....or standing near pretty flowers. I also love the kid section of the zoo....defninitly the best! But like Pezzy said, you really cant see any animals. Maybe we need to go earlier...or later. I dont know, but everytime we go we seem to miss all the action. Either way both zoos are great! Heather

None of those sounded good.....so sticking with what Kelly said, I would definitly add some kid friendly appetizers. Something plain and simple....that way the kids like it and any adults that might also be picky will have something to snack on. I know my kids wouldnt have liked any of those choices. And kids that are hungy and bored are NO fun to be around!! Whatever you choose I am sure everyone will be happy. Heather
