azheatherJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1038 | Posted: 2 yearss ago If your daughter wants to try them...I would go ahead and let her...maybe just let her use them while at home...that way you can check on her and see if she is changing them regularly.

azheatherJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1038 | Posted: 2 yearss ago Yesterday we were at costco and my daughter was holding my hand....she started rubbing my hand and looking very closely at it, until she said Mommy, your hands are starting to look weird...thats when my lovely son Steven said....Thats because mommy is getting old...thats why her hair is turning white!! LOL...of course what was wrong with my hands is they are really dry and cracking. So that reminded me of other funny things the kids have said. Steven seems to be the one that really throws out funny sayings...Like not to long ago, there was a daddy long legs at the carport door....He said Look there's a daddy long legs.... where's the mommy big legs?? So what funny things have your kids said.....with kids they are constantly saying funny things! Heather

Steven is really layed back...and while in the womb he hardley moved...it got to the point where I would push on my stomach to see if I could get him to move...there were many times I would worry, so I started tracking his movements. Jacob was the same as Alexis...he kicked a lot...and even now, I cant get him to sit still.Heather

azheatherJoined: 9/02/06 Posts: 1038 | Posted: 2 yearss ago kids are supposed to be immunized before they can attend public schools...Im not familiar with private schools, but I assume its the same...I dont worry too much about other kids giving my kids those diseases..especially chicken pox.....I had chicken pox as a kid, so did my brother...it was more of an irritation that anything else. as for reactions...luckily my kids havent had any....they should give you an info sheet regarding which vaccine you recieved...those always let you know what side effects are normal and which ones require medical attention. I hope everything is ok! Heather
