Maybe he realized you were serious about leaving him, maybe thats what he needed...Hopefully he will be able to get better, and you guys can stay together. Just dont let your feelings get into the way..make sure he sticks with what he has agreed to.....I hope for all the best for you and your family!! Take care!Smile

At 7 months old the baby should be eating baby food....just let the mom know that the baby calms down if you give it baby food...ask if its ok for you to continue giving her the food...if she doesnt agree, then I would let her know that it is just too much for you to care for a constantly screaming baby, and she will need to find another baby sitter. Maybe if you just explain what has been happening and what calms down the baby maybe she will understand and have no problems..

Good luck.....I hope this helped a little!

I agree with what has been said above...dont force her, or make her feel that she needs to wear makeup. If she wants to then let that be her decision....As for taking care of herself...brushing hair, dressing, etc....as long as she isnt hurting anyone...I would just leave her alone...14 is a tough age. I know at 14 I was trying out many different styles...and it took a while until I truly found who I really was. If your biggest problem with her is her wearing makeup, and cleaning herself up...count your blessings!! I am sure many parents with teens wish that was their only prob.

Maybe when you come home you could have both of them sit down and tell you about their day. That way everyone is involved.

Thats a good idea!! Maybe she is still adjusting to you starting back at work. I would include them both when you first get home.....then as the evening goes on give them each their individual time with you.

Hope things work out! Smile

I would want to be my dog.  Spoiled rotten and get to lay around the house all day.  When it is supper time - the food is placed in  bowl and laid out for me, when I am thirsty - there is always water.  When I have to go to the bathroom - I hit the doggy door, and when I want a nice back scratch - I will give puppy eyes to get all to feel sorry for me.

Your funny!!

I guess I would want to be a famous person...I would love to be able to buy whatever I wanted for me and my family without ever having top think twice. Have a huge house, travel around the world...Oh, what a life! I would also love to use my fame to help the less fortunate.

Jacob's was 5:00 pm.....we had to make sure we were home by 5 otherwise wherever we were it was a disaster..he would just cry & cry...and people were pretty annoying about it too. They would say stuff like oh he's hungry, or tired...and when I would reply back with no they would just kind of look at me, as if I had no idea what I was doing. Even at home around that time he was really fussy...but it was nothing compared to if we were out...even in the car he would just scream. It would only last about an hour to an hour & half...Pretty weird....My other 2 kids never went through that.

We use Pampers. Ever since Jacob was born it has been pampers...With Alexis and Steven we tried many different kinds ($ was tight) so we tried a lot of the name brands...After trying all those diapers Pampers are my fav! Although I dont use Huggies, they are great at sending out coupons and samples. Every month or so I get a new sample and coupons!!Smile

A friend sent this to me, so I thought I would share the laughs...Happy Friday~Enjoy!
AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES
 1. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock,
will prevent you from rolling over and going
back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
 2. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you
will be afraid to cough.
 3. Clumsy?  Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting
someone else to hold them while you chop away.
 4. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by simply
using the sink.
 5. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for
a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.
 6. Have a bad toothache?  Smash your thumb with a hammer and you will forget about the toothache.
Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are.
   You only need two tools:
   WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
   Remember:
   * Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
   * Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.
   * If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance.
And finally, be really nice to your family and friends; you never know
when you might need them to empty your bedpan.

We had the same problems. With Jacob I just squirt it in the back of his cheek...the faster I do it the better. When he was younger I did the same thing, but sometimes he still managed to spit some out....so I'd quickly put his paci in so he would automatically want to swallow. That seemed to work.....no matter what,  i think kids are always gonna hate taking medicine...even now that my other 2 are older...they still whine when its time...even I whine a little when I have to take certain medicines.Embarassed
