LOL...I used to do that too!!

Jacob was the same way when we first brought him home from the hospital. The 1st week was horrible....then my mom bought me a graco pack and play bassinet/play yard. OMG...it was a life saver. What made it so special was that it had a vibrator/music box. I would put Jacob down slowing pull my hands from out of him and he was fine. As long as I had the vibrations and the ocean sound on. The vibrations would last for about 15 minutes or so, sometimes if he wasnt asleep yet and it turned off he would cry...but as soon as I restarted it he was fine. Eventually he stopped waking up after it was off, but he liked it so much that when we moved him into his crib, we put it under the crib mattress also. Eventually he didnt need it anymore!! But at the time I was so HAPPY with graco for inventing such a wonderful thing, I wopuldnt have survived without it!!

I think rewards are a great way to encourage potty training. With my daughter she was pretty easy. She didnt like the feel of a dirty diaper. My oldest son was a completely different story!! We tried everything.....he knew how to go to the potty...but he just didnt want to get up and go. I just kept being consistant, and PATIENT (which can be hard at times) eventually we made it through the whole potty training.

Now I just need to start working with Jacob.....please let it be easier than with steven!!!

Well, so far this week Jacob hasnt had as many tantrums as last week. Last week his main thing was getting into the doggie water bowl....So far not once has he tried. I know he is just testing me...seeing how far he can go....but gosh, it can sure take a lot out of ya! My other children only thew a few tantrums, Steven more the Alexis...although they were much older.

With our 1st I didnt really have a preference. When we found out it was a girl I was thrilled. With our second I really wanted a boy, and we ended up having Steven. With our 3rd I REALLY wanted a girl. I had convinced myself I was having a girl. We never found out the sex until birth, but once I saw Jacob the whole idea of wanting a girl just disapeared. I was so in love with him!!

 If we ever have another baby I really want another girl. Boys are fun...but I love buying little baby girl clothes, and putting little bows in their hair!! They look so sweet!

Oh, I can completely relate. When Jacob chipped his tooth, I felt horrible. After an emergency call to the dr, and after I put him down for a nap, I went and cried. I felt sick to my stomach. I knew there was nothing I could've done to prevent it from happening, but I still felt so bad.

So you're not alone.....I have been there too!

Yeah, $50 a week is way too much. We havent started giving an allowance yet. I dont know....I'm kind of on the fence about allowances. Maybe once they get a little bit older. We''l just have to see.

I dont have any tattoos. I would really like to get one on my ankle, but the thought of a needle freaks me out. I hate needles!! Unless its medically necessary I dont want to be anywhere near a needle. If I ever do decide to get a tattoo, it'll probably be of a small heart on my ankle......but thats only if I ever get the nerve!!
