I can definetely relate. Just 2 weeks ago we ALL had it. Taking care of  sick kids and spouse is a pain in itself, but when you are sick too. AHHH!!! Our house looked like a tornado blew through!!Surprised
Luckily things are somewhat back to normal. Jacob has a cold AGAIN!!

At least the house is clean thoughSmile

My oldest son and daughter had no problems with the sippy cup. My youngest Jacob is a whole other story. To this day he still cant drink from the sippy. He just cant get the hang of tilting it back. At first he was completely closed off to any kind of sippy, then he started to wam up to the soft spout kind. He never figured out how to get the juice though, so we just use straws. He likes them a lot better, and its a lot easier for him too!Smile

Are you feeding her solids foods, and bottle before bed?? Maybe she isnt getting enough. I know my son Jacob, has gone through periods where he wakes up fussing, and wont sleep. Maybe she is just going through a faze. Has she always been a good sleeper? You could try skipping an afternoon nap, although with Jacob if he skipped a nap he was just more tired and more cranky and getting him to sleep was almost harder.

I know its frustrating especially with another one on the way, but just hang in there.Smile

Oh, when Jacob was 6 months old and we moved him into is own room, for him to go to sleep we had to move his vibrator/music box from his playpen to under his matress. The vibrations and nature sounds really helped him sleep. I think they sell those seperatly and you dont need to buy the playpen. Maybe that might help.

I watch Supernanny alot and they have ALOT of toddlers that dont want to sleep. She always has the parents just continue to put them back into their bed. Ignore their tantrums and just pick them up and put them back. I know I have seen parents on the show do this for a couple hours before the little ones finally give up. I never had problems with my kids throwing tantrums for bedtime, but they did for other things. I guess its just something you have to go through when you have a toddler. They are just testing us, and trying to see how far they can go. Each of my kids did it and I am preparing myself now for when Jacob does it. I just always stayed firm and NEVER gave in. There were also a couple times I thought for sure the neighbors where going to call the police. My god, I'll never forget those days. I was in tears, thinking I was going to lose my mind. Just hang in there, it should soon pass. Just dont give in to her!!!

Jacob loves his blankie, its not a toy but he drags it around everywhere. My daughter Alexis loves her little baby. Its called a jammie pie. Its an old doll from the 80's She named it Baby George, and she has had it since she was about 3. My other son Steven really doesnt have a specific favorite toy. He loves playing blocks, but lately he hasnt really been that into it.

Its hard!! I am also a late sleeper, and since my kids were born I am still trying to break the habit. One thing that helps is getting up and going straight to the shower. The main thing that forced me to start getting up early is the kids, they need breakfast, and other things and sleeping late just isnt an option anymore. Although Sundays i usually get to sleep in a littler later. Thats always nice!!
