We have a doge grand caravan. Its nice and roomy, but it seems to have so many problems. We had it for a year and the transmission went out, then the air, then the air switch, we are constantly having to do the breaks. Its just one big pain. Our next car is going to be a honda. With our other honda's we seemed to have a lot of good luck, I'm not a big fan of their mini vans, but I guess its quality that counts!

In the day does he sleep in his crib or somewhere else?? We also did the rice in the bottle, that only seemed to work for my daughter though. Kelrae asked a good ?, how old is he?

I know with my youngest son keeping a good schedule helped out ALOT. If we missed an afternoon nap, or stayed out too long he was really fussy come bed time. Does he usually follow a good schedule?

It was hard switching Jacob to regular milk. He hated it. I just kept trying to give him chocolate and strawberry milk instead. I asked his dr about it and she said not worry, even if he eats something like ice cream, or yogurt its ok, as long as he is getting calcium. Now he drinks milk fine, he isnt the biggest fan, but he at least drinks it.Smile

Was your MIL involved with the 1st baby shower?? Is she wanting to be involved because she truly cares, or is it a competition thing?? I would just have them both do it. They can both plan and host a party and both take credit for it.

I hope things work out!!

I have heard about this happening before. It happened with a college student and a fraternity initiation.

Its a scary thing!

You are by far NOT a terrible mom!! Asking for help and advice proves that.Smile

With my son, who just turned 6 in September sounds a lot like yours. He is also really into his cartoons, and toys. Before he started going to school, he was home with me. When he was here, I would include him in the housework. Not only did it help me, but he seemed to really enjoy it. He really liked being able to help. I would also watch his shows with him too. And sometimes he would just play wherever I was while I did house work. Maybe once a week you could go to the park, or out to eat at Mcdonalds or something. Something for you and him to look foward too.

I hope this helped you!

I am the one that always goes to the conferences. I like being the one that goes because I think I have a lot more questions to ask, and since I am home with the kids I know exactley how they are advancing with their school work. As for the conference its self, I am always looking to see how my kids are behaving in class. I want to know that they are minding in class the way they would mind at home. I usually have a good idea how they are excelling in their learning, but to hear the teacher confirm that is always a great thing. I also like when the teacher says what we can improve on, whether it be learning or behavior. (usually its the talking too much my daughter needs work on) After we have discussed that, I like to hear what to expect in the upcoming months.

The only thing I dont like during conference time......Sitting in those little chairs!Embarassed
