The Big Apple.

I usually get the grilled cheese and fries, with a side of thousand island. Their thousand island is the best! I also like their zuccini (spelling??), and burgers. Mmmmm!

'Sleeping in a car seat next to them on the mattress'?  Yet they can afford a pit bull AND a ferret.

When is the mandatory 'test before parenthood' bill being introduced?

I completely agree!! You have to take a test before you get your license, before you can adopt a pet, and many other things. But just anyone can have a baby?? There have been so many horrible stories in the news these past months about parents not taking care of their kids, I just hope something is done soon!!

What I just cant understand is if the baby was next to them while they were sleeping, how did they not hear the baby crying?? Even if they couldnt differ between its cries, you would still think they would have checked on it. All new parents I know are constantly checking on their new babies. I know I was constanlty checking on mine. They didnt even have to be crying, I would just go in to make sure they were still breathing while they were sleeping.  Heck, I still do that!Embarassed

I just hope they go to jail and have their child taken away. Hopefully that baby will find a nice loving home with parents that are grateful to have such a blessing come into their lives.

Thats a hard one. We were recently invited to a wedding in Cali on the beach. We werent able to go, but Cali didnt seem too far to go. Hawaii on the other hand, seems pretty far. If we were invited to a wedding in place like Hawaii, we probably wouldnt be able to go. With babysitters, and the cost just to get there, forget it. We'd have to just send a giftSmile

But for their wedding, they should do something romantic, and beautiful like Hawaii. You could always combine it as a wedding/vacation. After the wedding stay a little longer and have your own vacation. If you can.

Are they paying for anything for the guests?? Hotel, plane tickets, rental car??

I saw that this morning!! Its so scary! I cant understand why kids are so desperate to get high. I have also heard on Oprah about kids that choke themselves to get high. There was a family talking about how their son had died from doing that.

Its just getting so scary!!

What ever happened to the telling of ghost stories or playing the game light as a feather stiff as a board while at sleep overs??

I loved playing light as a feather, stiff as a board!! We also did prank calls.Embarassed I'm sure my grandma is still wondering who was calling her in the middle of the night giggling.Embarassed  Prank calling wasnt very nice, but I would much rather have my kids do that, than trying to get high by choking themselves, or taking cold medicine.

Good job!!

I know exactley how you feel. Not too long ago while shopping 2 of the sales people told me how well behaved my kids were in the store. They said most kids coming in here are touching everything and running around. Hearing them tell me that, felt so good. It really reasures you, that you are doing your job right. Smile

And I can also relate with you too Scarletsdad. My daughter gets a little too chatty in the classroom. She is a little chatter box. We have had many talks about it, and she try's to control it. But if her only problem is talking too much, I'll take that any day!!Smile

I have noticed a big difference between my daughter and son. They are 13 months apart. And my daughter is way more mature than my son in many ways. I have seen studies about this on Oprah, and I think Dateline. Not sure. I cant remember what exactley they said. (it was pretty complex Embarassed) It had something to do with brain functions.Undecided Anyways, it is actually a real thing. It just isnt our imagination.

Luckily most of our family is here (AZ), so we dont have to travel to far.

We also take ours down the weekened after New Years. I would love to keep them up all year, but I dont think the neighbors would be too happy. We also take the indoor decorations down at the same time. Its always sad to see them go, but once they are all down it feels so good. It feels less cluttered!Smile Plus I like putting all the family photos and nick-nacks back up.

I would confront him about it. Ask him why those were in there, and what does he need them for. I wouldnt be mean or judging, just firm about it. Then just go from there. I think the hardest part is bringing it up, after you do that I'm sure the words will come right to you.

Good Luck!!Smile

I have heard the same thing. I heard it was ok to have an occasional glass of wine too. Its always wine that i have heard about. I havent heard about any other types of alcohol. I never drank while pregnant, but I dont like alcohol anyways.
