Everyone has pretty much mentioned everything. Definetely dont forget your camera and some extra film!! With my older son I forgot the camera and my boyfriend had to run next door and pic up a disposable one.Embarassed And definetely bring extra socks. After they broke my water I went thru 2 pairs! Also a cute outfit for the hospital pic. You can also bring a blanket for the background of the pic. With all my kids they had the same background (the different colored splotchy background) So when I had Jacob I brought a blanket to use instead.

Hope everything goes ok!!Smile

Hi Judy!! I am a SAHM of 3 and I completely know what you mean about cramming everything into 1 day. There are many days I wish I could just have at least a couple more hours to get things done!!

Hope to talk to you soon!!

I am so happy it is finally cooling off outside (phx,az)! Just a few weeks ago I was still using the a/c in the house and the car. Now I get to open up the windows and doors and let some fresh air in. I LOVE it!!

Has anybody put up there christmas lights yet?? I am slowly getting everything out. We already put up the tree, now I have to decorate the inside/outside of the house. I LOVE decorating for Christmas. I also love driving around town to look at everyone elses decor. There used to be a place in Mesa/Tempe somewhere near Guadalupe and where the whole street decorated their house. When we went they even had a santa to sit with. We went there when my daughter was born, but have never been able to find it since. This year we plan to go to Glendale Glitters. If anyone knows of any other place let me know. We are always looking for something new to do this time of year!!

Reports: the Wiggles' Lead Singer May Quit
Nov 29, 1:32 AM EST

The Associated Press

SYDNEY, Australia -- The hugely popular children's group The Wiggles is expected this week to announce the departure of its lead singer because of a serious illness, media reports said Wednesday.

The Australian supergroup has reportedly scheduled a press conference for Thursday in the western city of Perth to make a "major announcement relating to members of the group," according to the Sydney Morning Herald, Australian Associated Press and the online edition of Sydney's The Daily Telegraph newspaper.

The reports said the group was likely to announce the departure of the "Yellow Wiggle," Greg Page, who has been frequently absent from touring since undergoing a double hernia operation in December.

The 34-year-old known for his bright yellow T-shirt has been undergoing medical treatment since June after experiencing fainting spells and lethargy, the reports said.

Calls to the group's publicist were not immediately returned Wednesday.

The Wiggles were Australia's top-earning entertainers last year, ahead of No. 2 AC/DC and No. 3 Nicole Kidman. The four men in brightly colored T-shirts, accompanied by a cast of characters including Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog, grossed $39 million last year.

Page, who was replaced by an understudy when he pulled out of The Wiggles' U.S. tour in July, reportedly said he needed to rest and seek medical advice for the fainting spells.

"I have had numerous bouts of this over the past eight months but they are getting more frequent, and more concerning," he was quoted as saying by The Daily Telegraph. "So I have decided that I must go home, rest and seek further medical advice to assure myself that I will be OK for future tours."

Publicist Dianna O'Neill told The Sydney Morning Herald that doctors had not been able to identify Page's illness.

Page helped found The Wiggles in 1991 after he and two other members met while studying early childhood education at Sydney's Macquarie University.

The group has franchised its enormously popular recipe to several non-English speaking countries, including Taiwan.

Eeeww. I dont like taco bell anymore. They used to be good a long time ago, but then they changed their beans. I liked them when their beans were smooth. Now they have big chunks of beans and just taste gross. I am an extremely picky eater (which I have been made fun of many times) But I just cant eat chunky things like that for some reason. I start gagging and then I cant eat at all.Embarassed

But thats great they are trying to get healthy!! Hopefully all fast food places will join in.

I never really cared for the wiggles until my youngest started watching them. He would instantly stop crying whenever I would play their songs, then when the shows come on he sits so still to watch them. Sometimes I watch them and some of their stuff is really cute. If it werent for the Wiggles and Enya I would probably be sitting in a mental hospital right now. When my son was an infant he hated riding in the car. Their music was the only thing that could calm him down.Smile

I would definetely talk to the teacher about that. How did the teachers in the lunch room handle that? Was he punished for what he did, or did they just ignore it. At my childrens school they have the anti-bully act. They take bullying very seriously, and with all of these kids shooting each other and themselves because they were bullied they should be. Has your son had any other problems with this kid before??

I do know how you feel, though. Whenever I hear of anyone giving my kids a hard time, I can just feel my blood start to boil. I dont think there is 1 mom out there that wouldn't feel the same way. Smile

I hope things work out for you and your son!!

I think it depends a lot on the kid. As a teenager, I tested the limits and did things I knew I wasnt supposed to, but I didnt go to the extreme. My brother on the other hand would qualify to have all 3 of those things done.Laughing

I definetely agree with having the software installed on the computer for the chat rooms and stuff. I also think having your computer in an open area of the house and not in a closed room also helps. The GPS also sounds good to me. My kids are still pretty young, and I already worry to death when they leave the house. Maybe when your teenager first gets their liscense, having a GPS to see how fast and safe they are driving might be a good idea. As for the drug testing, I think I would have to already have some suspisions my child was doing drugs. I think the drug testing would be if I knew they were having problems.

I do know that if my mom, did all of that stuff to me I would have been MAD!! I think as a teenager you do need to feel you are trusted and feel a little more independant, but as a parent I already know how it is to worry about your child. And with the way the world is today, you can never be too safe.
