Did anybody see yesterdays episode (tue, nov. 14th)

It ended with Victor taking Claire (belle's baby) into a room with a man that had his face bandaged. He told her she cant tell mommy.

Maybe its Phillip. Maybe he had some kind of plastic surgery to disguise himself.

Definetely go soon!! A few years ago we went about a couple weeks before christmas and it was PACKED!!! You were basically shuffling your feet. You couldnt even take regular steps. I cant even remember if you could see animals. ( I was hoping to maybe see the lions awake and active) It was so packed I was more concerned on watching where I was walking instead of enjoying everything around me. If there werent so many people I think it would have been great. The kids LOVED it. They didnt seem to mind the crowd.

Hope you find a good deal somewhere!

Good Luck

I have to agree with both of you! People that arent paying attention to driving because they are either talking on the phone, putting on makeup, or reading. I have seen people reading maps while driving!! Also if they are driving way under the speed limit or way over.

It also drives me crazy when people speed down our street too!!! There are so many kids running around playing and I am scared to death that one day a car is going to come speeding around the corner and hit one of them. I never allow the kids out front without me or their dad around.

I used to let all my kids take naps in their swings. My youngest son used the swing a lot more than my other children. He continued taking naps in his swing up until he was about 8 months. When it came time for him to start sleeping in his crib, he seemed to have no problem with it. Right before nap time I would play with him, then feed him a bottle, then put him down. He was usually very good about it. The only time I would get him would be if he was really screaming. If he was just fussing, I would leave him because within about 10 min he was asleep. Also when he was younger whenever I would go to him while he was in his crib, I never really talked to him. I would make the shooshing sound, and rub his back, and give him his pacifier and blankie, but never really talked. I wanted him to know that when in his crib that meant it was time to sleep. I also learned real quick what helped him sleep and what didnt. He needed his paci, blankie, darkness, and the a/c on. If it was too hot he would fuss. If he didnt have his paci he would fuss.

I also think they all go through stages. For the most part Jacob is a good sleeper, but every few months or so, he seems to go through a stage where he refuses to take naps. During those times it is very frustrating, but after about a week he seems back to normal. Maybe its a growth spurt, I dont know. But I always try giving him the things that help him sleep before I give in and pick him up.

Now my daughter was completely opposite. She would scream, jump, and shake the crib. Many times she would climb out and fall. She was very stubborn, and hated being in bed. With her I just went with her on it. She was my 1st and I didnt really know what to do. So I just basically let her guide me. I tried the letting her scream and checking in every 10-15 minutes, but she wouldnt give up. She would go up to an hour doing this. So with her I just gave in. (mainly for my own sanity Surprised)

I hope this has helped you out a little. Good Luck!!!

I am new to whole thing of having my kids in school, but it almost sounds like his teacher is picking on him. For her to just want to throw her hands up in the air and give up sounds strange. If he gets good grades what exactley does she say the problm is?? Just that he is hyper and doesnt stay on task?? I have had almost the same experince with my daughters teacher. She has just explained my daughter in a way I have never heard any of her teachers explain her. Almost as if she is complaining about her.

Im curious to see everyones opinion about this, because like I said I am completey new to having children in school.

Good Luck with whatever you decide to do!!!

Wow, that is really scary. I'm glad everything was ok. I can only imagine how scary that was. Good thing you were so close to a firestation. My son doesnt wear burrettes (obviouslyTongue out) but he has grabbed mine before and I have just barely caught him putting them in his mouth. My heart just dropped. I am always afraid to let him have anything in the car, because I am so afraid of him choking while I am driving. And something like a barrette in a little girls hair isnt something that has ever made me worry. My daughter was always wearing barrettes.

Thanks for the story, it really makes you think a little bit more on the dangers that are always around our babies.  And things that you wouldnt even think twice about.

A way to see all of the groups is to go to the search groups page and press the space bar in the search box, then push "Search". You should be able to pull up all the groups available on MT. At least all the groups that have a space in their names. ^_^

Thanks!! I just tried it. I hadnt realized how many groups there are.
