princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 10 months ago Okay, I finally have a chance to read again when I am nursing, I am about half way through Destination Murder (a Murder She Wrote book). It is a good mystery and I can't wait to find out how it ends. I have also started the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I have a huge list of books to read!

princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 10 months ago Okay, my son Christian is almost 3 weeks old, and he has never liked to sleep in his bassinet (he quickly wakes up if he is set in there asleep). He will occassionally sleep in his infant chair. He prefers to sleep with me or my husband, which we have to pay extra attention. Any suggestions??? Thank you ( I sleep in a chair now, and really miss my bed, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!)

princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 10 months ago I played clarinet through high-school, and still have it even (just don't know if I could play it pretty well still). I do know how to play the piano, and absolutely love playing it. My baby is unable to play anything, the instruments are all bigger than he is, but I hope that one day he make become interested in playing one!!

princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 10 months ago I know I am not the perfect wife. I do the best I can.. love my husband, care for my baby, and all the 'wifely responsibilities.' I try hard to make sure my husband is happy, but know i am really forgetful (i am one of those -i would forget my head if it wasn't attached- type of people). I don't want to be reaching for a perfection that i cannot achieve because it may depress me with how far off i am from reaching it; i sometimes get the vibe that my husband measures me towards a perfect wife. but he always loves me through all of my adventures!!

princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 9 months ago we are decently prepared. we live in a basement, where we keep a lot of our food, even canned goods.... we just moved, so most of our stuff is with us in our room still, but it is not unpacked. but i always like to be prepared.

princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 8 months ago Well, now a days most of the time I just go to sleep without changing (meaning whatever!). I have finally been able to start wearing pajamas, but it is a day by day thing. If it is warm I sleep in shorts and just my nursing bra (easy access to feed when Christian wakes). On cold days I wear one of my comfortable pairs of pants and a sweater! Sometimes if I am really tired and know I have to get up early-sometimes I wear what I want to wear the next day.....

princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 8 months ago I love going out to eat anytime during the day, but if I had to choose..it would have to be dinner. because in most restuaranys you can have any meal at that point in the day. I also like to feellike i can sit back and relax at the end of a day!

princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 8 months ago I sleep on the right side, we use to switch it up every once in awhile, but now with our baby I always sleep on the right (the side we have our bassinet on) without that complication I like a change sometimes!

princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 8 months ago 1.) Every letter and card my DH has written me since we started going out. 2.) A doll my mom gave me, named after her because I thought they looked a lot alike. (and my baby blanket). 3.) Letters, pics, and a keepsake book for my first baby (with more most likely to come..). 4.) My journals that I kept throughout my life. 5.) a necklace my DH gave me (for no reason at all, it was so sweet)

princesapiadosaJoined: 1/18/08 Posts: 241 | Posted: 8 months ago Hey ladies, I am just looking for any advice from other mothers on helping my son accept a bottle so he will be able to eat the few days I hope to work for some added income. I have bought a few types of bottles and I know it will take some time... Right now he will sometimes eat from the bottle, but it seems like he doesn't swallow very much. It is hard too, because he cries the whole time and I soon just want to calm him and just let him breastfeed. Thank you!
