It sounds like the school is trying to cover up an epidemic in their school by passing the buck. Thank you Rmomrox- you know how I love being right;) Yeah that's right I quoted myself~

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1898 | Posted: 5 months ago Honestly I think about it all- not to the point of locking them up and throwing away the key. DH and I talk about what we think, what we would do etc and our kids aren't even in school yet. I think you need a plan of action to help deal with each situation- not bury your head in the sand. Even the greatest people fall pray to pressure- I just have teach them the best way to deal with each pressure

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1898 | Posted: 5 months ago The media has the chicken and egg syndrome. The media says it is just filling a need, but people complain. If they weren't making money all this stuff wouldn't be on the front page. So what came first the media or the public's need for all things celebrity? It is out there and probably always will be, sad but true. I think the best thing to do is to use it as a chance to talk to our kids. Explain Jamie Lynn has money so she can afford nannies and all the help she needs. She won't have to worry about diapers, and her child will never have to do without. That is not the case for the everyday teen they won't have those same luxuries!

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1898 | Posted: 5 months ago Since it is in the woods and your worried about ticks you might have to get something with deet for the wood ticks. I worked at a camp we sprayed the bug repellent with deet on clothes and used a lotion without deet on skin.

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1898 | Posted: 5 months ago LOL With N I have given up on naps, since he was about 2 1/2. If he naps now we know he is getting sick M needs her nap- she is a crank without one. She gets her baby and nurses and then will take a nap. She only sleeps for an hour, 45 minutes but it helps. Love it Jan!

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1898 | Posted: 5 months ago Easy question for me. I worked at an Assited Living, for the elderly. The manager was TERRIBLE! She would hire people I wouldn't even trust with my toothbrush forfear of them mistaking their teeth with their a$$. To think these idiot were taking care of people was scary. I left crying, I worked every other weekend. After being off I came in and a 90+ year old woman had sores- I walked into her room 2 seconds and saw her formed cushion was backwards. Okay I am no genius but there is a large bump in the front of the car that serves to keep the legs seperated. Not one of those stooges could figure out that this poor lady was sitting on a two inch hump for possibly 2 weeks!- not even this all knowing boss. BITTER YES! I have stories like crazy from this place and I only worked there for 4 mos.
