mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1870 | Posted: 7 months ago Megan is biting too- I seperate her from Nolan, a little time out. Hitting, biting I do not give warning. I find when they are fighting and getting physical they need a break from each other so it's best to seperate. Talk to your boys too, she might love the reaction the boys give her. Nolan will scream really loud and Meg will laugh-I told him walk away and come get mom. Meg just wants to hear him scream.

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1870 | Posted: 7 months ago okay it is almost that time of year PROM Here are some "bad" prom tales ...- I love the last one... Mine were pretty boring- except senior year I went with a friend(girl) I thought girl power plus my boyfriend was older 26 (my dh now) so weird asking him. It was fun when the slow dances came on we were not allowed to dance together
mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1870 | Posted: 7 months ago It seems like an older commercial too- and with Jan's link I see they have backed out of vetrens affairs. 2006 and 2007 giveaways nothing about 2008- maybe remind them that three are still veterans coming home . It is a great sentimental commercial with a great message but actions do speak louder then words.

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1870 | Posted: 7 months ago Got this link from a mommy blogger ... a paperless petition ... for phonebooks- pretty interesting stuff. The idea being that phonebooks are consumer waste. With the internet do you really need a phone book. You can opt out and not have one delivered. Some do have to call there local distribitor. I don't know if I want to get rid of my phone book but when I thought about it I get like 5 a year and that is waste. Something to make you think!

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1870 | Posted: 7 months ago Ny children are not bi-lingual-nor am I. We have friends that are from Africa that are teaching their children Swahili. I thought that would be a great language to learn, that isn't offered through school etc and could still give them a slight edge. Because Spanish is also a European language, my sis spent a summer semester in Spain, she said there are ties to the other European languages and learning Spanish is a great bridge to learning Italian etc. |
