We don't have a cell phone- well we have one but no plan.  i keep it for long car drives, you can always dial 911 on them.  Now the ipod is another story they should have a bluetooth for that.  I have many a times been distracted flipping tunes

Okay this one everyone can get into...When was the last time you got out of the house without the kids, without strings attached. i am talking no grocery shopping or running that quick errand. When is the last time you went to the mall gotta a cup of coffee and just chilled. So this is the challenge Mommy's night out. Leave the kids with the hubby and get out for an hour heck maybe 2- take a long walk, window shop, get your nails done then blog what you did and how it felt!

I successfully breastfed both my children Nolan quit when he was 15 months, weaning himself.  Megan is 20 months and still nurses.  It is funny I get the kinda the same reaction that moms who bottle feed when I say I still nurse Megan.  You really can't winSmile.  The ultimate problem I think in today society it is a mix bag-People  give you crap if you bottle feed or if you nurse in public.  The only way that there will be more successful nursed babies if it is just allowed to be natural no pressure.  If anyone is interested this was my bible to breastfeeding

http://search.barnesandnoble.com/The-Womanly- ...

I was so lucky to have a DM who was an RN who worked many years as in the nursery- She said-1 if it hurts you are not doing it right there should be a pain-free attachment

2. When babies nurse successfully they get all their milk in the first 15 min. everything else is self gratification- 15 min each breast then paci to self soothe.

Ultimatly it is personal choice- but I hope this info helps

Love that story!  My younger sis, 5 year diff, is my best friend we fight but always come together.  We don't need to apoligize cuz we know each other that well.  She is gettin married next year and is gettin her masters so we are in different places.  My older sis, 6years here, she had a hard life.  I talk to her everyday and keep her head above water, sometimes she drives me nuts, and I feel like the big sis-but I love her anyway.  I have another sis, 6 years younger, we e-mail keep in touch-college too.  She makes me laugh and has here head on straight.  Sisters are awesome-couldn't live without them!

I did for awhile 2-3 years.  don't remember it much now.  Just that it was an old church, lots of kids.  My ds does now, started at 3.  Next year when Meg is 2 we will get her into a small program and mama will have some coffee time yeah!

Don't know if I am frustrated-more sad then anything.  Probably frustrated that I let a five year old get to me.  Nolan's SPD is not a huge Learning disability it is not as bad as Autism or others.  I have been on top of it and have a great support team, last night I was struggling and e-mailed his OT and got some great tips.  I felt great then today when I dropped off Nolan he was talking to some boys they were talking about a party then one told Nolan he wasn't invited.  My heart just broke for that little guy.  It brought me to tears I couldn't even get out of the building.  I just felt like no matter how hard we try  Spd is always going to make him a little different, hold him back in social situations or keep people from truly seeing what an awesome kid he is.  I know I can't protect him from getting hurt but I don't want his SPD to hold him back, in education and socially.

Men who have great power sometimes feel invincible-nothing can take them down.  Be it cheating on their wives or footing tapping in a bathroom stall.  I hope no matter what his wife chooses to do she does it from her heart.  I know if DH made a mistake I would try to be  forgiving- that is after I cut off his willySmile

Nolan is terrible when it comes to breakfast to.  I try to keep the same school schudule all week.  Eating breakfast at the same time everyday keeps him on a eating routine.  If you drive him to school keep granola bars and juice boxes handy- one last ditch effort before he gets into the class.  Sounds like you have a class clown- Nolan too.  I have to tell DS time to be silly and I time to be settled.  Good luck.

Going on what Jennsea says that brings up a good point.  Both my DC had slight Jaundice- I had them in the window.  Plus a mothers touch has great healing properties ?? your dr about that.  Great points Jennasea!
