mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1870 | Posted: 9 months ago Thought this was a good topic I can say ours went off pretty smoothly-we did have an aunt who wore off white and fell on the dance floor. My DH stripped at my brothers- but it is a tradition for our family happened at all the boys wedding(not mine)- I did to a little karoke with the bridesmaid and helped lead a congo line into the next reception hall with another wedding, by the end of the night you didn't know who's reception was whos. We still talk about my brothers wedding to this day- Suprised we remember it. During dinner at my sis-in laws the grooms cousin, the one you invite thinking they won't show informs him that she works for a divorce lawyer-if he needs it- And you?

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1870 | Posted: 9 months ago Another great story.... We live near Madison. The UW Madison rated year in and out the biggest party school so we too have some fear. Kids are 4 and 1 and we have already talked about setting rules about going into Madison. Love the part about boyfriend/girlfriend my dh says the same thing!

mommyo2Joined: 12/02/07 Posts: 1870 | Posted: 9 months ago All moms or dads welcome! They do make babygates that block off areas- but can be pricy. Maybe instead use nightligts in the areas she is to be in-using the lights might keep her in the areas she is allowed. She'll be drawn to them. My sis in law had a house with no bathroom where the bed were so she gated her DD room and used a potty chair in the room. She had a baby moniter so she could hear whenever her dd got up. Hope that helps-and WELCOME
