Oh yeah i have-a gal needs sleepSmile But more so when I was uncomfortable with my body, and sex.  I find when your more comfortable and relaxed you are- you rarely need to fake it.

My dh has the "I don't like anyone" syndrom:0  I told him pick the top 5 issues that concern you most-  Go to the canidates web sites-straight from the horses mouth-  then pick the one that best matches your views.  Last summer we had a local vote i got caught up in the day and forgot-i regret it now.

Hi and welcome.  I can't answer as a mom but as a child that spend most of her time with family.  i moved alot so it was hard to imagine having and keeping friends, and my sis was and is my best friend.  You stated your DD has friends over that is great.  I wonder is she feeling outside pressure that scares her a little.  I say since she is close now talk with her about the important stuff because she is still young-soon especially high School where there is more activities she will be on her own more-She will be ready when peer pressure sets in.  I love my mom and now we are still close.  It sounds like you have a great relationship with your DD-so take advantage of it!

Two words "Stepford wife"   I do not fall into any of those polls- but i answered "no way" because it isn't being the "perfect wife to other people but being "perfect" for your self.  You do the things because it makes you proud- and self-sufficient-then that will go on to your children.  If you are the "perfect" wife you are depended on and what if God for shame you are the one sipping food from the straw- or the one that passes away-how would the ones you love take care of themselves.  Does my 4 year old put his dishes in the sink-heck yes so does my 18 month old.  when they don't they have to come back and do it-not because i am mean but because I love them enough to know they will be able one day to take care of themselves-   AWESOME ARTICLE LUV

Starbucks is a special treat-we have one at our Target-deadly combinationSmile Usally a Latte or Chai tea- 8o'clock whole bean coffee is good. I used to love floavored coffee but now I only like true coffee in the morning. The only flacored I love now is a pumpkin spice or the gingerbread lattes at starbucks

First off I would like to say that Leave it to Beaver life never ever existed.  I worked with alot of the elderly who grow up in that generation and their lives were not Pot Roast on the table,Pipe, slippers and paper for daddy.  There was depression, and teenage pregnancy, and abuse-no one talked about it! They had a hard life.

I think alot of times men to get the short end.  I do think child custody is set men back.  From my own stand point custody was given to my mom.  When my dad remarried they fought like hell to get us kids, it was an uphill battle.  When my mom and dad were married my dad worked came home and had no choice but to care for us kids -then had to fight tooth and nail to get us.

Dads now a days are stepping up and give creidt were creidt is due.  My dh focuses on the kids when he gets home-He cooks and from time to time load the dishwasher.  I love being a SAHM- I love to cook-the cleaning part i can do without-but i do it not because I have to but because I want to.  One day I will get a job and Eric will pick up his end like he did before.  In all honesty when he gets home alot of the housework is done.

We have come along way-but we still have miles to go in the world- There is a line in a movie-Big Fat Greek wedding- "HE might be the Head of the Household but I am the Neck-I decide which way the head turns"

Well Said R.  You are a mom and you want to protect him-like all us moms do.  He wants to spread his wings a little.  Could you work out a deal with him- let him try, with the condition that he keep his grades up and be on his best behavior.  Tell him if he doesn't keep up his end you are going to have to real him in.  Let him prove himself to be the grown-up he wants to be, support him in his decisions-but above all be there to guide him.
