The first, about apologizing will be out in October! I hope that when my book is published it will help moms and dads explain things a little easier just by reading the book. I used animal characters. Try making up a story and seeing if she understands that feelings were hurt and that when the character apologized it helped both the victim and the one that did the hurting. Best of luck.... He's over a year and he has hated being under a blanket or restricted since day 1. As for the sleeping, I agree, as much as we would like to get them on a schedule, sometimes they will get into their own schedule then after that happens we (PARENTS) can "tweek" it.....good luck!!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 710 | Posted: 5 months ago You've gotten some great advice here so far! I have a 13 month old that went thru the reflux and finally grew out of it at 9 months. He also is a baby that has a hard time having bowel movements on a daily basis. He is on a high fiber diet and also gets a teaspoon of Phillips Milk of Magnesia every night per the doctor. This stuff is great and works wonderfully for him. sometimes his grandparents get irritated with me because of the strict diet I keep him on but i'd rather be persistant with it than listen to him cry for 5 hours trying to have a BM. Good luck and I hope that it gets better soon!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 710 | Posted: 5 months ago Gabriel had it for a bit and at bath time I would put baby oil or olive oil on his head and brush with a baby brush (use a different one though than you use after bath time) then after I scrubbed all the cells off I would use normal baby shampoo to remove the oil. It seemed to work pretty well and went away fairly quickly The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.

He took my ring accross the ocean and proposed to me at St Peters Square at Vatican City at 10:45 pm on August 25 2005! He was not on one knee but I survived!! We have the PS2 and nintindo wii set up in our family room. He has the remote control trucks running around the basememt under the air hockey table, pool table and dart board. as for my son... the one who should have all the toys.....he's only 1 but both my hubby and I love to build things with his blocks. about every night, we build a castle or a dog or a house or something when we are "CLEANING UP" hehehehe... Gabriel aslo has this duck that dances and sings teh chicken dnace... from hallmark during easter.... he loves it and so do i.....

On a more serious note though, since I've been on MT, so many first time mommy worries have been put at ease with advice, tips, or just reassurance that I'm not alone and not the only mom that has dealt with whatever the issue at hand is! Thanks everyone for all of those great tips or just leting me vent on those crazy days! I'm looking forward to many more years and sharing the growth of our children!!! HERES TO MT!!!

Good luck on sticking to it. I can't wait til after I recover from having this baby in a few weeks to be able to take the kids out walking, well I walk and push the stroller and they ride but we will be enjoying the outdoors none the less!

Endless love but we did the Lionel Ritchie and Mariah Carey version. We even went to dance lessons to get a dance choreographed and never did it cuz i chickend out!!!!! it was a lot easier when no one was looking! The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.
