I can't say..... my hubby would not do it at the end!!!!  But it is supposed to help because of the natural hormones you produce during orgasm is spposed to aturally prepare your body for labor (eface, dialate, etc)

I had a doctors appt today and since there were no complications with my labor with Gabriel (he just was stuck on my pelvic bone) they want me to try a vaginal birth after cesarian(VBAC) I am certainly not opposed to it at all because I really want to experience the birth however, I just don't want the long labor and then c section that I ended up with last time.

Has anyone Opted for the VBAC and how did it turn out.  Everything go smoothly?  Did you end up with a cesarian anyway?

My hubby and and i are cell phone and texting dorks!!!!  we text all day long.  I send him cute pics of Gabriel I take and little videos on the phone.  I even upgraded my phone to the blakjack that has the full keyboard so I would be able to do it easier!  I also text my mom and brother a lot during the day.  With them in VA and me in PA it's just another communication for my family.  I don't however do it when driving and it stays downstairs at night when it's bedtime!

I agree, that was one of the best intros I've read!  WELCOME TO MT!!! THis is a great place to meet, get advice, and vent when we all have just one of those days!!!!

I am Sallie from PA, I have 1 son who is almost 13 1/2 months old and I am due again on July 8th!!! We are not sure if we are having a boy or a girl. We love the surprise.  I am a SAHM with a passion for writing as well.  I have my first or a series children's book being published and will be released in the fall!

Again, welcome to MT and I hope you enjoy it here!

Ok, question for you ladies!!  Gabriel is almost 14 months old and is very independent.  I've noticed the past couple of weeks that his excited slaps have turned into when he is frustrated he gets to slapping and the past two days trying to bite, although not successful.  I've tried the explaining it hurts, and even raising my voice, to no avail.  Now I grab his hands and look him straight in the eyes and firmly tell him no hitting, hitting is not acceptable.  I just wanted to know at 14 months, what are other things that can be done to nip this in the bud sooner rather than later since I am having another baby July 8th!  Heeeellllppp!!!

Thanks so much for the tips guys!  I know it's just a stage that he will get thru beause he certainly does not see it between my hubby and I but man it's a tough stage.  And with being so near the end of my pregnancy, my patience sometimes wears a little thin with him when he is acting out, which is normally very strange behavior for him until lately.  He may be sensing my anxiety too I am sure. Anywho.....thanks again!!!

OK..I don't believe in superstitions at all.  However, my hubby and his family do to the extreme.  My MIL does not want me to watch scary  movies or my unborn child will be mean, i should only look at pretty things.  OR... If I want something to eat and don't eat it the baby will not like it. etc. etc.  I actually get irritated because a visit does not pass where some crazy belief they have cooked up does not ome out.  I used to do fun things like hold up the roof of the car when we went under an overpass or things like that but I think that was something my parents did to keep my brother and i from fighting on long trips!

We have not had any issues either. We have had to move Gabriel over to a big boy bed since we have another baby coming in July.  Gabriel got moved over 1 week after he turned 1....into a queen size adult bed.  He has been in it for over a month and is doing great.  When he wakes up he sits on the side at the railing and calls for us.... knock on wood he has never tried to crawl out!

I knew pretty muh as soon as we started dating.  (which i declined his first few offers to go out)  But Anthony is a true Romantic and still is.  He loves to make things special for me.  I had never had anyone worry so muh about me when I traveled or was not with him than when we started dating and it felt so nice to have someone care like that.  I knew it was him!

1. I started to get advise as a first time petrified mommy

2. as time went on I was able to share my experiences as a mommy to help others hopefully

3. sometimes just to get reassurance that I am doing things right and whatever it is will just naturally work itself out.

4.  For the kick butt ideas on how to tackle the newest daily struggle

5.  Occassionally just to gripe about day to day adventures with hubby, in laws, friends, life in general and get the support I need to blow it off and life will go on and be as great as it ever was!!!

MT ROCKS!!!!

Gabriel loves music.  Every kind!  He and daddy download videos on saturday morning and have their JAM session as anthony calls it.  Gabriel sits in his lap and dances.  He dances in his car seat, stroller, and I took him to the GYmborree music class where he loved loved loved it!  He's only one so he does not make request but I am sure that is soon to come.  HE is a Dave Matthews fan right now!

I was a smoker in high school and until the day I took the over the counter test to find out I was pregers with gabriel.  It's amazing that when i had a life growin inside of me I had no issue quitting cold turkey and never looked back.  Then once I had him about 6 weeks later i started again and again once I took the over the counter test for this pregnancy quit cold turkey.  I would like to think that I won't o back but I don't think I am serious about quitting yet.  Hopefully I will be soon!  I don't like the taste or smell I think it is just a purely bad habit that i need to break!!!
