Centered....WHAT THE HECK IS THAT!!!  Just kiding!

I guess in no particular order it would be...

A hug, kiss, smile from my son who is my little angel

Putting Gabriel to bed at night.. no matter how tired or grouchy I am, once I sit in that rocker with a bottle and a book and him in my lap, everything in the world is right.

when I am upset, a hug and reassurance from my hubby

a phone call to my mom, who always makes everthing right

and if all else fails, a cigerette and a beer and a good &ITCH seccion with a girlfriend. (when i am not prego of course)

I've made the news... well sort of.  The below link is an article in our local Sunday paper recognizing the illustrator that is illustrating my childrens book as a supurb senior at her college.  It highlights my book a little but focus's on her.  It got me excited and I can't wait til there is an article about my book!  Hopefully, like the article says it will be ready for release mid to late Fall.

I've never had the opportunity to take advantage of online courses.  I got my degree at the ole' fashion brick and morter facilities.  Smile  However, in the future I look forward to taking classes online.  I think they are great for "NON TRADITIONAL" students as they call them.  Those of use that are'nt right out of high school that other priorities that keep us from attending classes every day at a physical location.  I would like take classes to get my teaching degree in addition to the marketing degree I have.  Also I want to take Italian classes (so I can tell when my in-laws are talking about me...hehehehe)

I am the youngest of my brother and I.  He is 4 years older than me.  I was a tougher kid to raise than my brother.  My brother was the perfect child.  was never grounded, was valadictorian, etc, etc.  i was the one that still got good grades but was grounded every other weekend.  My mom always said I was the one that had a social life.  My brother just had priorities and now has a wonderful life, family, and a social life but I did not want to wait to have fun!!!

Hi, and welcome to MT!  This is a great site!  There is a ton of great advice and a place to vent for new and seasoned mommies!  I have a 13 month old and another due July 7th.  Our son for quite a while stayed up until 11 or so and then he worked into his own schedule of getting tired earlier and we went with it.  Does she take a nap earlier like 7 or so.  Maybe if she does, make that her bed time and get into a routine where you feed, change, massage her or whatever you choose to do then after a few days she will get used to it.  Then she will wake up to eat a little later but will get used to an earlier bedtime.  We had to get darker curtains for Gabriel's room to block out some of the light now that it stays light longer but he goes to bed not between 7-8 every night....no exceptions and wakes up at 6.

PS... We did the crying out method after a short stint of bring Gabe into bed with us and I will never make that mistake again.  It's much easier to let them cry for a few minutes in their own crib then to bring them in bed with you and have to go thru hours of crying when you decide that co sleeping is over.

Good Luck and welcome again!!

Oh gosh!  That is horrible!  As bad as it ma be now, it's gonna be hard but I think you should nip that in the bud now or this summer is going to be one long few months for you!  I am so sorry about this situation... that really stinks.  Best of luck and when you finish with the kahunas, pass them over, I need to heed my own advice and tell a few people similar things!!!!

Always in the morning but occationally in the pm i slip into bed ad forget.  But if I wake up to potty in the night I'll do it then.  Ik now... strange.  I am particular about changing toothbrushes too.... I just think of germs sitting there and i shove them back in my mouth.. blahhhhh... Gabriel right now only has a few teeth so we rub with a washcloth a few times a day and we try to brush at night but it's more for gettig into the habit right now....

I've also had issues with having headaches when i was on certain types of pills.  Especially if you missed a few your cycle my be out of whack and heavier than usual.  Check with your Doctor if you are concerned though or they can change your pill to something you are more comfortable with

It could be lots of things like a growth spurt, teething, he could be changing his schedule a little.  It's common to have times where they do that.  I would just keep up what you were doing and it will work itself out.

We went nuts...and it was only 7 of us.  My hubby went to the grocery store and I did the cooking.  I did burgers, hot dogs, sausage, chicken, and shrimp.  We had roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, pasta potatoe and macaroni salad, and coconut pie, cheesecake, and carrot cake.  Whew.... i just sat on my butt last night!!!

I've always loved summer.  Swimming, golf, walks, the shore, cookouts, it's all great!  Fresh cut grass, flowers, butterflies.  Gabriel is able to enjoy it this year and so far whenever he walks past a door he grunts to go out!!! He does not quite understand that rain is not fun to play in though.  I'm looking forward to a great summer with Gabriel and the new baby when it arrives in July!!
