I make a detailed grocery list and get everything ready before we leave so i don't have to think or fumble around. I on average save 20 bucks every week with groceries. Then I look at sale papers and price shop for other things. It become my own personal challenge to save the family money.

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 7 months ago Definatly head to the dr again. Leaking water is no good.... Insist that the dr check the fluid to make sure. If it is discharge then that is ok but amniotic fluid means they need to provide you a different type of care. Good luck! The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 7 months ago It's almost like we are taking one step forward then we take two steps back so we not really going forward at all. I think there are some plans out there but poor execution does not get us very far. Hopefully with the next few presidential terms we will get somewhere. (notice I did not say who would lead us to progress, just that hopefully it will happen! )

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 7 months ago I loved my senior prom. We started the night with a fancy dinner at a friends house, it was a group of 8 of us that we went as couples but none were dating. I went with one of my best guy friends. I LOVED my dress. I actually still have it and will wear it again at some point in my life i hope. Anyway. Then off to the prom in a 65 mustang!!!! It was apple red. Went to the prom which being a senior we had to do this prominade thing thru the room then the dance started. Then we went to an organizzed after prom party at a local country club. it was set up like a vegas casino and you played games all night and the last hour or so was an auction with the monopoly money we had won all night playing games. We got to buy tv's, vcrs, lots of great things with the money. The products were donated from local business to keep the teens off the street and from drinking and driving that night! It was awesome!!! It lasted until around 2 or so then we would all go to my parents house to crash (in seperate rooms) then my mom would make a huge breakfast for everyone! It was great!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 7 months ago I can't open the link to see where PA is on the list but I know we had an issue here last year with a lady breastfeeding at the mall. She got asked to stop or leave and would not so then there was a Saturday Morning where a bunch of moms went to breastfeed together there to stnad up for the right. I personally did not breastfeed in public but I don't have a problem with it at all. It's a completely natural thing and is great that you are able to do it. I just felt very clumsy with getting Gabriel latched on so i never even did it in front of my MIL or SIL. I would always go in a private room.

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 7 months ago Just three... wow... hmmm.. i'd have to say 1. Apples - love em... and they would help keep teeth clean. : ) 2. Coconut - sweet! yummo.. and you could drink the milk, use it to bathe, etc. and find a use for the outside too. 3. - watermelon - it's so good!!! and i'm sure you could build a raft with the rine somehow... if you could have all of the three fruits that you wanted. May take a while to eat that many but it would work.

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 7 months ago My son just turned 1 last month as well and we too went thru a stage of this a few months ago to the point that he did not want to be held by anyone else besides my husband or I. I stay at home so I am who he knows best. I just kept handing him off. Let him cry it out for a bit. Giving my MIL, SIL, FIL, ETC.... a chance to calm him down and after 5 or ten minutes he would either calm down or I would take him back for a few minutes then hand him off again. Then after a few weeks, i would start leaving him with my In laws again. They would take him in another room and playwith him, dance with him, distract him in some way and I would slip out, first for just a few minutes, then I started to leave him while I went to dr's appts, etc. Now, i just hang out, kiss him bye, and walk out. and he's fine. Good luck!!!!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 7 months ago I first fall asleep on the couch at whatever time because being 7 months prego with a 1 year old is tough stuff. KUDOS to all moms with 2 or more kids!!! Then when hubby is ready to upstairs he wakes me, we go up and have blackout curtains and a nightlight.... yea i know that does not make much sense now that I am writing it. We sleep to the ceiling fan on and of course the lovely moniter that my hubby makes fun of me because I have it on the highest volume. I am just so scared to miss something. We will soon be getting the double moniter unit to listen to two rooms!!!! By the time my kids are three I will probably be able to sleep thru anything!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 7 months ago Nothing planned for this year since I'm due the first week of July it will not be any fun for me to go to the shore before or after the baby comes. Which is ok. We traveled extensively before kids and took Gabriel to the shore last year so we will stick to day trips. This weekend we are headed to the Philly Zoo! YEA!!!
