I was petrified for him because I had been diagnosed gestational diabetes during my pregnancy and was so scared that even though I took extra care of myself to make sure the baby would be safe I was so scared that it would effect him. I was happy with his weight. Since both my husband and I were over 8 lb babies I figured he would be right around there. Now we have a happy healthy and HUGE 5 month old. He is 29 inches and 20 lbs. He is taller and bigger than lots of 1 year olds!!!

Have someone watch her and you go out to get a pedicure or buy a book, or read a few chapters in one you already have! I am getting ready to leave the house now for mommy time. My hubby is watching our son while I go to run a few errands without the car seat and diaperbag in tow! It will get better! Always remember you are not alone!!! Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 1 years ago As a first time mom I was so excited for labor. I could not wait to do what women for ages have been experiencing. Everything was in order at my last appt. The baby was in position, I was progressing nicely etc etc. I still had to get induced due to gestational diabetes I went a week early. However, what no one new is that the baby made one last flip to sunnyside up. So I labored for 19 hours, 15 of it being without the epidural which I had requested much earlier. ( I was not trying to be without the pain relief) At the end of the 19 hours, I was told that I had not progressed any further than 4 cm and it was suggested that I have a c section. I was sooooo disappointed, I cried up until they took my into the operating room. At the end everything turned out great with a beautiful healthy baby but I was upset I did not get to expereince the delivery. I was exhausted from the labor and in pain from the c section. It was rough! But...I'll do it again if I'm able!

My hubby is in the grocery business and there are also a lot of grocery items that the companys will donate a percentage or flat amount per unit to a cancer cause. Some of these products are Campbells, yoplait yogarts, Hershey, Pepperage Farms, Northern Bath tissue, Arm and Hammer laundry detergent, SunChips, Entemanns desserts, etc. There are more, but look for the pink ribbon or a special label and if you purchase then know that you are helping a great cause!!!!! Pay off my parents, brother's debt for school, cars, house, etc. 4. Pay off my in laws both parents and sister's debt and their new house. 5. Bank the rest for our future retirement at the shore! We plan our entire weekend around the game to make sure we are at home to watch it! This is the first year we are not going out to a game because of our little guy, he's just too small. HERE WE GO STEELERS...HERE WE GO!!!!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 1 years ago Littering drives me crazy!!! Our community is very clean as is most of our county here in PA. My worst experience with a litterbug was on interstate 95 coming north back to PA. I was behind a car that threw out their little containers from a fast food place that held ketchup, mustard, etc. It went all over my windsheild, car, the car beside me. I was enraged!!! How can someone do that... Just put it back in the bag that your food came in and when you get out, throw the bag away.. pretty simple. The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 1 years ago I was both... elated and a cranky grump! I loved being pregnant but when heartburn set in or i was uncomfortable i know i complained a lot to my hubby. He was great. Luckily it all went away wih giving birth!!!
