Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 9 months ago We have already discussed this and my hubby is for and I am on the fence. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have so he can enjoy some alone time but be able to watch some educational videos or something. But other times I am like NO WAY.... not needed. We have enough tv's in the house anyway. I have a little time to worry about it but I will have to really think about it. The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 9 months ago We both have individual accounts and then we have a joint account. Hubby pays bills out of his account since I don't work, I just have my account open and don't use any of the money in it for the moment. We pay all of our bills online but when we do have to write a check I do the writing.... The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 9 months ago Good read..I always had a strict curfew growing up and hated it but if i was 1 minute late, i was grounded. And my parents always stuck by it. They always said "there is nothign good that goes on after...whatever time my curfew was at that time... and I agree with them.. NOW. then, not so much. I had a curfew until I went to college, and I turned 18 January of my Senior year in high school so when all of my friends were out till morning the summer after high school, I still had to be at home at midnight. IT was tough... but fair. I will be a curfew mom I am sure of it!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 9 months ago I am mad at my hubby (partly because I am selfish) . It's Sunday and my hubby right now is off having breakfast 40 minutes away with one of his guy friends. 40 minutes there, 40 minutes back, min hour of chatting and eating... around 3 hours min. away from the family. It's the weekend and my hubby leaves during the week at 7 and gets home at 6. We put our son to bed at 7 and me being pregnant am not far behind him going to bed so the weekend is our family time. i am upset that he decided to go and spend time with his friend (who he sees every other week at work anyway). i know he needs time to himself to besides at work so I feel selfish too but I'm still pissed!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 9 months ago Welcome and you are sooooo welcome here! You have one tough job! You and your hubby are very strong people and it's wonderful you can share your love to help little ones! I am sorry but I can't help you on the potty training, my little one is still too young and we have not crossed that bridge yet, but I too look forward to reading the posts because we also live in a 2 story house...

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 9 months ago In 1999, I was in North Carolina in college for Hurricane Floyd. Back then it was one big party of climbing on roofs to avoid flooding, drinking, swimming in disgusting virus ridden waters... YUCK. In 2002, in Virginia there was Hurrican Isabel, no power for a week and a half but I had water. So we would take turns with going one place to shower and another house to watch tv. It was fun.. Never been very very close to a tornado to where it affected me but they have been in the area.

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 9 months ago My hubby and I have been to tons of concerts before we got prego, but I would have to say the very best show has to be Cher... in her farewell tour two years ago. It was great!!! The most wasted of all days is one without laughter.

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 9 months ago I think I changed my mind... I think it may have been Elton Jonh. I know.. I'm only in my 20s but Cher and Elton were great shows!!!! Barenaked ladies was good too. I love the music of John mayer but his concert was horrible! I think he smoked a little too much before he came on the stage because he was just out of it!!!!
