Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 11 months ago OH I feel your pain! I don't see my family on the holidays but usually sporatic trips throughout the year. My in laws are constantly offering advice which my mom has always told me to thank them but do as I intended to do anyway. However, i get the advice every single visit, without fail, which is multiple times a week. When the advice is coming from my SIL who does not have any children, the advice gets old, really really quick. I have learned to just give a smile and not say a word....because...my mom also said "IF YOU CAN"T SAY ANYTHING NICE DON"T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL" at least i listened partially!!!

I'm due in July with our second..... we won't find out though what we are having.... even though right now I think it is a girl! Congrats and welcome again!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 11 months ago My fiirst job was when i was 15, i also had to get a work permit, and it was in the produce dept. of the local grocery store. My parents best friends owned it so in a sense it was a "pie" job although i did work very hard and worked my way up to manager and then to front end manager. Options for jobs in high school in my town were slim so i worked there all thru highs school and then the summers thru college!

Mom2Gabe&JoshJoined: 7/02/07 Posts: 709 | Posted: 11 months ago I can't complain in this area at all. My hubby is fantastic at picking out gifts and I usually get jewelry. But this year, neither of us really needed or wanted anything so we agreed to not get each other anything and pick a few things to do around the house. So we are getting our dining room painted, new carpet in our fmaily room and a new coutertop for our bar that will be a eat at counter. Thats our christmas....!!!

Appitizer, cookie sort of thing 1 lb of sausage, mild or hot whichever you prefer 10 oz of sharp cheddar cheese grated 2 cups of bisquick mix all ingrediants and form into small balls about 1 inch in diameter. cook at 425 until brown.... (or anyone else that wants to be there for support) Let's get together and discuss our pregnancies, the babies, dr's appts, our anxiety about birth, etc. Is it your first, second, third, etc child. Come and share your experiences or your questions with women in the same position!
