I am pregnant with a possible holiday baby! We are due Dec. 23rd, so we'll see what happens. This is my first.

I tried Preggy Pops but just having something in my mouth made me gag. They did taste good, though.

I am looking for ideas of what to get a daddy-to-be for Father's Day. Any suggestions?

Hey guys! I am expecting my first child within a few days of Christmas and I am already worried about keeping his/her birthday special and different from the holidays. Any ideas? What do other moms do?

A menu idea for all ages is fruit kabobs with yogurt dip. Kids love dipping things. Also, August in AZ is hot, so what about putting a baby pool in your yard or having kids dig in a sandbox to find hidden treasures? I hope you have fun and don't forget to take tons of pictures!

The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa is having a launch party to promote their new babymoom package on Jne 15th. It is a free event for parents-to-be with swag bags, Cold Stone ice cream and free spa treatments! I'm going... will I see any of you there?

A babymoon is a trip you take, just the two of you, before the baby arrives. Kind of like a last hurrah as a family of two. Or a second (0r first) honeymoon. We rented a cabin in the mountains for three nights... very excited!

Hey guys,

What do Braxton-Hicks contractions feel like and how early do they start? I'm kind of scared....

I don't know if we have anything to donate or not, we will make a project of it this weekend, but please post all information on your garage sale so that we can come shop. I will definitely be there for that! Good luck to you.

Make ice cream in plastic baggies. Great summer activity for kids.

4 ounces of milk, cream, or half-and-half
A dash of vanilla extract or 1 teaspoon of chocolate syrup
2 teaspoons of sugar

Put the above ingredients into a quart size plastic baggy, seal and shake to mix ingredients.

Fill a gallon size baggy half-full with ice. Add 2tbsp. rock salt and place the quart size baggy into the large bag. Seal the large bag and shake for 3 minutes!

Here's a fun activity. The kids can make their own Slime or Gak (that will not mess up your carpet).

Mix 1/3 c. of water and 1/2 tsp. of borax together in a bowl. Add about 1 c. of school glue (like Elmer's) and let sit for a few minutes. Knead the glue under the water until the Borax has removed all of the "stickey" from the glue. You can add tempera paint or food coloring to the glue to color it if you want. What you are left with is a blob of non-sticky moldable goo that kids love to play with. Store in sip-lock bags because it can dry out.

Don't forget about about yourself. I practically live at the hospital and I know that even though they provide basic toilettries for the patient, they don't provide them for mommy and daddy, so don't forget your own toothpaste and toothbrush. I would also bring your child's toothpaste from home because the stuff at the hospital is often a weird texture and flavor and not very appetizing to a child nauseated from pain medication. You and your family are in my prayers.

I have researched this also. Babycenter.com has a great article about it that answers all questions and has good resources. Here's the link:
