Heard about this site on the news so thought I'd try since I do the myspace so everyone back home can see my kids grow when they can't be here or us be with them, but I like this better because you can talk to moms not little kids!!! Well anything exciting to do around the Mesa area? Let me know I have 3 kids 6 yrs.,4 yrs. and 8 1/2 months!

We have lived here 3 years and have gone to Zoo Lights every year and love it. I've never been to Glendale Glitters but would love to hear from anyone who has because we have thought of going but feared it would be more crowded than Zoo Lights.
We also went on th Polar Express last year and will do it again this year

We are just doing fine with not saving any $$$ before they were born and they get everything they want and think they need. I have their grandparents do saving bonds for their B-Days & other holidays and that works out great!! And we have a account set up for them and they earn their own $$$$ by helping out, so later on in life they will relize how it is out there without thier parents. And one more thing my parents had no $$$ for me when I was little and it just taught me to work harder on my goals!!!

EVERYONE ALWAYS SAID OH I'LL GIVE IT TO U A X-MAS BUT THEY USUALLY DIDN'T SO, MY DAD STARTED TROWING ME A PARTY THE SAT. BEFORE THE 11TH SO I DIDN'T LOOSE OUT. MY DAUGHTERS B-DAY IS THE 20TH SO I WILL DO THE SAME FOR HER!!

THE FIRST KID I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THE SIDS THING BUT IF THE KID CAN ROLL OVER HE OR SHE CAN LIFT THEIR HEAD UP TO BREATHE & THEY WILL BE FINE I WAS TOLD BY MY DOC. AND 3 KIDS LATER THEY ARE FINE & NOW A NEW REPORT SUGESTS THE SIDS THING IS SOMETHING IN THE KIDS BRAIN & HERIDITARY I THINK THEY SAID ON THE NEWS. THEY ARE DOING 10 MORE YRS. OF RESEARCH LAST I HEARD. BUT MY DAUGHTER WHO IS 10 MONTHS HAD SLEPT IN HER CRIB OH ABOUT 10 TIMES SINCE SHE HAS BEEN ABLE TO ROLL OVER BECAUSE SHE GETS IN BETWEEN THE BARS MOVES THE BUMPER AND ECT. SO SHE SLEEPS IN HER PACK N PLAY WITH A BLANKET THAT WAY SHE DOESN'T GET CAUGHT ON ANYTHING.

bunchof5Joined: 8/22/06 Posts: 453 | Posted: 2 yearss ago I FOUND PRICELINE.COM IS THE CHEAPEST AND $ 400.00 SOUNDS RIGHT I WAS LOOKING TO GO SEE FAMILY IN WI FOR ALL 5 OF US AND @ $476.00 A PERSON WAS THE CHEAPEST & I HAVE BEEN LOOKING SINCE JULY & DECIDED WE ARE GOING TO GO WHEN THER IS NO SNOW THERE!!! TO SAVE $$ OF COURSE TILL THEN.

bunchof5Joined: 8/22/06 Posts: 453 | Posted: 2 yearss ago I used to let all 3 of my kids take naps during the day in their swings.My second loved naps in the swing & at night they did well I just let them play on the floor untill 8 or so then put them to bed. My daughter is 10 months I just let her play during the day & when she gets fussy she gets layed down in her pack-n-play. If she continues to fuss after I lay her down after about 20 minutes I get her back up to play to tire her out more but usually shes sleeping withen 15 min.
