I called the posion control and they just told me wait 3 hours and then take him to the hospital, when i finally got a hold of his doctor, she told me not to wait that he may be dead by then. We reached the hospital and they started pumping his stomach and putting charcoal down the gi tube i then broke down and prayed to God and my grandpa that had just passed away to save my son. my son had to stay in the hospital for 4 days but now is very healthy. I don't know what i would have done if he had in fact died. I call him my miracle child. So now everyday I thank god for everyday i have with him.

the doc had told me not to give him any juices with alot of acid in it exp. orange juice, so i told her this and it does not stop her from doing it. i tried talking to my hubby about it, but all he says is hunny its my mom you know how she is. I've asked her to stop in a very sturn voice and she was very hurt, and says that i don't think that she knows what she is doing. she has her bac degree in child devolpment and that she raised her son just fine. what do you think i sould say to her?

I remember the day i told my husband i did not want to be around my son, i know i loved him, but i just felt this over coming desire to sleep and not want to hold him. I also started acussing my husband of having an affair with one of my best friends. i even told my husband that i did not want to live anymore, at that moment he called my mother to come over to watch my son, and took me to the ob's office. He told him the symtoms i was having and that i need help. the doctor took me back to an exam room and he told me that i had a bad case of post partum depression. This was seven months after i delivered my son. Still to this day i still have to take my meds for it, My doc said that some wemon after delivering a child loses some of thier hormonal what ever that is controled by the brain. Just wondering if any other mothers out there has experinced post partdum depression?
