I can hardly wait to read this thread everyday! I'm going to remember the one about cleaning the toilet with the Dh's toothbrush. Hilarious! I wish I had thought of it.

I'm developing a crush on my professor. He has a tiny hiny and wears size 31/32 jeans. I sit in the back row but am considering moving up Smile

I sound like a broken record, but everyday I have a million emails to open. I just left a group I really loved because I couldn't handle receiving an email every time a new post was up.  I'd rather not receive TMT info in the form of a PM. Couldn't this just be on the homepage as an announcement to everyone? Let's save PM for private messages between friends. That way we won't be bombarded.

I've said it before, but nothing works like exercise. I work out at a gym three times a week and walk up a huge hill, 16% incline. The gym is inspiring. Seeing others work out makes me want to work harder.  If you work out in the morning, the endorphins kick in for the rest of the day. I prefer outdoor exercise because sunlight is a great mood enhancer, but any exercise will do.

MommyOh2,

I make the bed 5 minutes before he comes home.( I might want to get back in sometime during the day.....) Here's a trick I learned from a friend. Just before he comes home, spray room freshener. He'll think you've been cleaning all day! I've tried it, and it works. No one should have to clean all day. And no one should expect anyone to.

I never touch anything in a public bathroom with my hands,...not the door, the sink handles, the flusher, the toilet seat. I always have a paper towel between me and anything germy. Yes, I'm a germaphobe.

I confess that I love this thread more than all the others combined.

I've always been a believer in vitamins. I was raised taking them daily, and my kids took them daily. I have learned from a registered dietician that in her studies of nutrition students were told they are toxic and all vitamins should come from food only. That worried me. Hair analysis is a good idea. I've never done it but would try it.

Just watched the AllStars game and was sorry to see the West lose. Why didn't Manu make the team?! I don't understand it. Tony Parker had the bum ankle, but was Manu injured? I don't think so. He might have been just what we needed.

I treat myself very well.....massages, pedicures, facials , lunch with friends, and movies at the theater. These are the things that keep me sane and happy. And if Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!

Philip is great at this. I read my horoscope and those of my loved ones, and all-are very accurate. This is a much-enjoyed feature. Thank you.

OK, who has the potty fetish...? First, bathroom reading material, now this question Smile I'm an under person. I just think it looks prettier. Now, if you could just make a little origami frog from the bottom section of paper, you could practically throw a party in there!

I notice a lot of MTers mad at hubby for being thoughtless on V-Day...and rightfully so. If mine forgot me on V-Day, he would be receiving the silent treatment  for DAYS at the VERY LEAST, and probably a whole lot more nastiness would be heaped on him.(This is where that toothbrush in the toilet might come in handy.) It is inexcusable to treat the mother of your children this way.  Ladies, you need to expect and demand more.  Don't suffer in silence. Let him know how hurt you are, and let him know  today that next V-Day he'll be sleeping in the doghouse if he has another memory lapse.

Well, ,SOME men are beautiful, but I disagree that women NEED them. I am reminded of some graffiti I saw once in a women's bathroom: :"A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle."  A thoughtful, kind, loving man is value added in a woman's life, but a selfish, thoughtless man is like a hole in the head. Who needs that? I know plenty of happy single women ( and men) who would rather be alone than be treated shabbily.   Men must be taught by their mothers  how to treat women. Show me a thoughtless man, and I'll show you his misguided mother.

My confession: My father is a thoughtless man who was treated like a king by his mother. He could do no wrong in her eyes. Three marriages later, he still believes he has never done anything wrong. As mothers of future men, we have the responsibility to raise them to love and respect us first and other women later. their wives will thank us someday.

I'm a terrible procrastinator. I had Friday through Monday to accomplish some work that is due in about 2 hours. I played like there was no tomorrow. I went out of town this weekend, took my work, but never looked at it. Now I had to wake up extra early this morning to complete it.  I don't know how I get away with this. Luckly, I work best under pressure and a deadline. It always gets done, but I nearly have a heart attack doing it.
