Posted: 1 years ago hhmmm i like this in archives great thread mommy talk isnt your random run of the mill chat site It is an actual Community composed of so very many warm loving intelligent and giving individuals. We can share all here, freely without fear... with integrity and respect we discuss or choose nuff said if we tend to differ yet there is genuine love, caring and concern willingness to help others , appreciation for different veiws thats awesome for me ... people go that that extra mile and more here and support each other in ways I never dreamed a web group was capable of .. there is prayer, there is encouragement , there is just simple yet so special greetings that can make a persons whole day that someone cares enough to go rate pics and admire their kids ,worry when they are ill, think how the mom or dad are coping w illness, w startups new business. who just show one another the caring we as human beings need but in todays world often dont get. here a young mom w a colicky baby who hasnt lept good for days and feels at end of her rope, can come here and cry for help before she hurts her baby in frustration... she can come shARE THE GLORY OF THOSE FIRST TEETH OR FIRST STEPS W OR WOUT A DAD OR HE MINUS A MOM PRESENT. WHHEEEEE How WONDERFUL is that!!!!!! this community can stop lonliness in its tracks and help direct us where we need to e . and all I can say is BLESS YOU aPRIL FOR ENCOURAGING ME TO SIGN ON. THO KK HAD SOME PRETTY WILD ONES TOO W ALL THE NEIGHBOURS ALL OUR PEEPS PRESENT TO SHARE THE FUN .. SOMETIMES SAM WAS HARDER TO DO BIG ONES AS PEEPS TRAVELIN BUT SHE GOT MORE FIREWORKS FOR HERS , WHILE YOUNGER ADULTS i ALWAYS THREW GRUMPY HIS SHARE OF PARTIES TOO LAST ONE IN HI , AND HE AND A BEST FRIEND THREW ME ONE IN iTALY, AND ONE HERE FEW YRS PRIOR TO HI.!! That was a pool party and was nice !! I PREFER DOING THINGS LIKE THE DINNER CRUISES W CLOSEST FRIENDS OR DINNERS OUT now adays tho AND THATS HOW WE USUALLY DO NOW. Even I as ,as an old woman who simply cant herself about loving on babies and little ones ......heck I talk to most everyone and I am Very touchy feely.... well I get kinda scared about touching or hugging or even patting strangers kids hands simply so as Not to frighten anyone. My dear hubby is as natural with kids as I yet he too has become very reserved even when kids come to him for hugs when not in our circle You see ,hear and read so many bad things yet its only a few out there that are bad. As a mom, and a grandma, a care giver I too can get creeped out and suspicious about people and that makes me sad to be that way, yet I am firm about the teaching about strangers rules ,yet trying to balance teaching kindness and trust also because our kids must see and deal strangers daily in life. In your case, while VERY forward and tactless and Disrespectful in way he did that WAS definately A HUGE NO-NO !!!!! He may have been an uncle or absentee dad or even big brother who simply reacted to cute sweet baby. HOWEVER .... He should know to talk to PARENT before approaching a child and ASKING In a pizza he may have a beer or two and I dont think under circumstances Id have reacted any less protective.... but I dont think all peope who simply love kids and react to them are pervs... Im sorry you were frightened but Glad you told him score. And kept her close .
