He gave me my love of animals, and my work ethics... He is still MY DADDY still cantankerous and still SPECIAL... Love You Daddy!!!! My kids Daddy Grumpy well I think Hes the best daddy I know when it comes to our kids heck most kids!!!! Not Perfect mind You hehheh but hes always there for his girls, and would move Heaven and Earth if they needed him to Hes forgiving and funny and loves the movie dates he shares with our girls and he may move slow on some things but hes always THERE I am proud to say hes the Father of my girls Love You Grumpster!!!! antygamma Joined: 1/11/07 Posts: 3827	Title: Question of the Day -- Escaping Punishment Posted: 1 years ago Honestly I cant think of a THING i escaped from hehheh I was the proverbial BBBAAADDDDD little kid if it was gone I took it whether I did or not and if was broke I broke it blah blah I grew up w such a complex for honesty and fairness it want that I really was that bad but as 2nd middle I was the scapegoat despite being somewhat a Daddys girl and as it has taught me much I cant complain at least not anymore hehheh but if I think of something as day wheres on I actually got away with Ill share Hey I remember now how I Tried teehee Mom always used hairbrush or wooden spoon, but she always broke on my butt trying to get me to cry I made her SSSOOOO MAD!!!! Id stuff papers and books ,washclothes extra layers .... in my drawers to deflect the blows hehheh and laugh at her no less BBBAAADDDD Holly Anyway one day she ran and grabbed the hammer handle and thought shed get my hiney in one swift firm blow but it Broke too!!!!!! OOHH My She WAS FURIOUS all she hurt was her onw hand on hammer hook she was holding She truly wasnt trying to abuse me just break my will, and I weas WILLFUL lol but that day after she broke handle WHEWEEEEE SHE Grabbed me and just yanked me over her lap first whack w bare hand she had my drawers down and I GOT IT AND I DID CRY She always said I embellished thar story teehee But thats what I remember hehheh loved us but swear ? eat soap Run ? shed grab what she could reach and Never think you were to big for her to show who was boss She was a Single mom raising four girls, working two to three jobs and when she was home her word was LAW!!! Lest you think that was a tad harsh you shoulda seen her shimmy!! Awesome Now Sammi She got away w ALOT!!!! Cant wait to see what she reveals on here teehee She confessed eventually to a FEW things that truly threw me for a loop WAYYYY after!!!! antygamma Joined: 1/11/07 Posts: 3827	Title: My Father's Day Posted: 1 years ago Ana , Grumpy has an estranged daughter from his first marraige and I can ASSURE you that when you saw those tears you saw his HEART He was being honest He could not have recieved a better gift than having you there and he was even more scared than you. Men carry emotions and express different than women [w a few exceptions ] but when my hubby was blessed w seeing his daughter for first time in many yrs by her choice he was beside himself w joy!!!! when she had her son and shut him out again on birth of his first grandson , he was BEYOND Devastated ,hurt beyond measure, and broken... But facts are she also was so protective of her mom when in fact her mom left him ,stole her as a baby and hid her for a few yrs ... all the while convincing her that Dad left her for me since I didnt even know him then that woulda been kinda hard as I didnt meet GL till she was LONG Gone and at first I think I even reminded him of her a bit as his gramma suggested later She told her and I Heard her do it ,the classic jealous line. Which is insecurity and fear our kids will leave us for the replacement too,[ whether we wanted them or not] he loves those brats of his there more than you and it damaged the girl. And hurt her dad and my kids and me . We loved her GREATLY ,and still do ,despite the hurt. , though she has not spoken to us in 9 yrs nor even sent photos of her son, and all because her mom left her feeling she had to choose. That is NEVER healthy for a child!!!! It Warps your life , your heart and robs you you of ever truly trusting anyone ever... deep down where it counts .. So know that satans a liar he comes to kill steal and destroy and if he can keep you bitter and distrustful and seperated , unable to forgive or trust, he wins God loses. So I hope that this first step you made which was indeed HUGE gives you both a bridge to total healing. neither of you can change the past , but you CAN change and better the future for not only you and dad , but All family members.... maybe even leading your mom to forgiveness and healing and able to move on. Life is short Ana , and we set the stage for our own kids so BELIEVE in your dads heart towards YOU ,still his family .. And understand from a womans veiw that things were very wrong between both mom and dad for break to happen. and while all hurt, it was their issues not Yours broke them. They are Both your parents and both love you . OK Off my soapbox... I am praying for you ALL.
