Posted: 1 years ago not having seen the film i cant comment yet on that ....but kids marraige, the whole 9 yards that I can comment on. I have been w my DH for 27 yrs now... and I can PROMISE you it hasnt all been a smooth sail lol..... weve definately sailed thru stormy waters, getting dangerously close to that thin line tween love and hate, and even capsized a few times..... We have two and a step we didnt see much of growing up, and good times and horrible times.... we've been Sonny and Cher , and even had a yr or two nearing the War of the Roses ...teehee BUT WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE IVE SEEN MORE BLESSINGS IM GLAD TO HAVE INDEED ITS WORTH IT Phil 4:8 think on those things that are true,honest,just,pure,lovely and of good report,if there be any virtue any praise, think on these things prov.22:7 for as we think in our hearts ,so are we.... Posted: 1 years ago Id have to say generally my awakenings are seasonal> winters i get up and watch the sunrise listen to the birds awaken and just enjot the peace and quiet alone time with my coffee and God .I let the dogs out and and begin days tasks before babes start arriving when I can. the floors dishes emptied from dishwasher< reload .... then I get breakfast and welcome whomevers coming .I get them all fed outside to play for AM , ....same for spring summer I actually sleep till either dogs kids or biological clock awakens me. HHHHHMMMM Well I guess it would have to be when I was a young teen or roundabouts I was babysitting and came home to see my step dad sitting up downstairs sweating profusely and saying he felt bad when I asked why he was up. I told him Id go get my momma and thats what I SHOULD have done but he INSISTED I just go to bed it was just indigestion or something he and I had just had physical 3 days prior and gotten clean bills of health soooo I did as he said wished him to feel better and offered to get him something I think then GN What I would change if I could , is to have called for an ambulance and gotten my mommy up PRONTO young as I was might have been 11 or twelve even cant remember anymore , I KNEW I SENSED he looked Real poorly .... I will carry guilt till I die for my poor judgement to take him at his request and gone to bed I awoke in AM to my mom downstairs yelling his name then SCREAMING his name in a panic trying to awake a dead man I went downstairs and told her how hed looked nite before and she flew at me ,in her panic stricken ,griefstricken ,shocked state, Screaming at me YOU KILLED HIM Why Didnt you get me anyways???!!!! Its your FAULT you saw him alive last and you didnt tell anyone She had called for ambulance by then but she was screaming at me to get out just go away so I got on my bike and went out in shock and sorrow and confusion and Fear to myself Its hard to even type this all these decades later I left my momma too when she needed me to ignore her reactions and just be there so I would change that fateful nite He'd had a massive annuerism so probly nuthing would have saved him but I would still have changed that moment and preceding actions to try to help him and my momma better. Forgive me if I cry over over this now Much as I understand now , going back still hurts deeper than I thought. But I realize I only a child and my mom didnt even know what who she was reaaly trying to blameI just happened to be last one to see him alive and maybe had he died in bed Momma wouldnt have bourn up atall.... so perhaps I was strong eough to take blame after all Im still here and loving livin life .
