Posted: 2 yearss ago Hello. i/WE definately have both family and friends serving currently. Neices, cousins , friends children, and friends. They are stationed everywhere from Iraq to ships, to bases round the country ,to subs, to overseas billets. List too long to be indivually posted. But I know this, I wish all of them and their families, friends and loved ones the very best. Safety, and support, and lotsa love. and I extend a HUGE Thank You to ALL the wives and children, of our Military. We have several of you here with us on Mommy Talk. Tell us how we can help you and support you. You also are making GRAND SACRIFICES for this country for US, as you support and love your service member, live on low pay and move as you finally get settled and make friends. You face SO many of the day to day crisis alone, and oft feel like single parents. You sleep alone alot, and still put on brave faces, and write ,call and build up your spouses. Thats just a little of what you have to deal with. So A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE for our familys. Kids you miss your dads or moms, lest we have hubbys home while wives serve here. And you often cry and try to understand why as soon as Dads home he has to leave again. You just wanna be close and its hard to understand . But you know they love you and have Important jobs to do, while thinking of keeping you safe. So Applause for you sweet kiddles too. We havent touched on the fears, the frustrations of wondering where they are when comminications low due to duties. but welll I can only personally say its not an EASY life. Yet its a GOOD one. And so God Bless and Keep You All . Agree with all was stated as indeed I do carry those thoughts and memorys and await anxiously to start w my grandsons the next generation on those memories. When I and my kids were youngsters, we had neighbourhood parades with strollers trikes and bikes decorated for later judging, flags waving, and leading to the local parks where the games, rides and fun awaited. grilling w the neighbours free ice-cream handed out Patritic music playing, playing and watching the fire works together. fellowship and teaching our young what a grand country we live in why. We did this for the 4th of July also ...Then The BIG parades then teehee. Kudos on entire piece. You are appreciated ty for sharing sincere thoughts. And Your memories youve built and those you'll cherish. I think you represent a good portion of our fellow Americans , as do so many on this site. God Bless you. The Fast food mainstay is SOOO hard for me to deal with w several of my kids I watch. Its a killer from 2 to 9 yrs for sure as meals become a tearful,frustrating expierence for all Takes so much time to get em eating good again and I Do utilize fast food occassionally, but at my house its veggies fruits yogurt gogurt teehee and the chicken, the easy but healthy meals more than not.
