antygamma Joined: 1/11/07 Posts: 3827	Title: whinning toddler Posted: 2 yearss ago seems to be that its mostly either the whining or the arguing stage or tantrums . alls I can tell you in encouragement it will pass. hang on ,stay cheerful and matteroffact, and reward well when you can get something done minus the whine . while my own are grown, am going thru w some of my charges ,and I can still relate teehee. distractions, different family members to coax and play and its already getting better. when its getting to you, hand him off to hubby, gramma ,friend while you go breath and keep chin up and happy laughter going. mimics work well, asit brings venting and giggles from all too , and teaches good humor at same time it breaks our stress . happy mothering Phil 4:8 think on those things that are true,honest,just,pure,lovely and of good report,if there be any virtue any praise, think on these things prov.22:7 for as we think in our hearts ,so are we.... As I seldom go to chat, and there is so much happening with so many , almost a tension in the air a combustion building if you know what I mean. Private chat does seem to freeze and knock us off so I decided to play and blow off steam for all of us I Truly know no one meant to harm or insult ,or exclude anyone. We simply began getting silly. I have a young man , 13 years old hes part fillipino part caucasion, and hes in dire need of a match in California. Kevins not had an easy life. Hes Adhd , his mom had breast and skin cancer and while shes a surviver, shes also hooked on painkillers still, and not very stable because of the depressions. His dads a sailor, and hes got a little sister. Kev is such a good boy , Gary and I used to keep kids and try to help his momma , beat her fears and dependance. But Kev, he had to live w it . Step up, grow up fast. He deserves every chance at life. yet, the ethnicity makes his doner a more difficult match.
