Posted: 2 yearss ago I dont believe its the number of kids, its an unstable person taking on more than they themselves can handle. I have had days ive had 7 kids of varying ages and days I have just one or two,And ive had days w one fussy one that were more exhausting than the whole bunch. I am blessed as my hubby ,even before he was laid off ,has always tried to arrange his jobs so he could be here to help during busier times... and I truly appreciate that. I have never understood how anyone could do such heinous things to children. It makes me ill to read of babies in trash cans, murdered ,beat ,or otherwise tortured children. Its soo sad. I've got friends who've raised 8 or more kids, , w little help during days anyways , as dads working hard to support the family. And those moms were fantastic moms . Thats why I made that first statement. If you are stable ,loving, person, you will not harm the children you have. But if you're not ... even one is endangered. Ive seen that too. So pray for and be willing to help out those overwhelmed mommys around you. Teach them, show them . And check out your potential sitters. Watch them w your kids, see how they handle day to day events . And pray diligently for all our young . I LOVE how 3 yr old Moriah and 2 yr old James, and both babies get such sweet comments, and are so satisfied just to go out. Now my 9 yr old Lydia is an entirely different matter. Tho lately she remembers how to shop MOST of the time. But when she first got back from her daddys we all had pretty much decided she could nt go ,even w Grumpy as she acted soooo bad. However ,she finally caught on that Good behaviour brings rewards in shopping. Bad behaviour takes her to the car and very annoyed grans. antygamma Joined: 1/11/07 Posts: 3827	Title: Question of the Day -- Tell Us About Your Weekend Posted: 2 yearss ago Thats easy, Friday nite I was maddern a wet hen as hubby refused to go to see shrek tree w me , and KK threw fit too, about taking the babies. sigh Ive So been looking frwd to going, alas, tween u and me they were right that 1 and 2 is Not great age fer kids at movies, especially when one teehing and both cranky lol. Still I was ANNOYED!!!!! Specially when KK went Sat AM w Gran Lydia and another child, so Fri was a ruse to throw me off GGGRRRR. However, Sat AMwe had like 4 kiddles, and Grumpy took 2 older boys to Franklin Grahams kids events, while I stayed here w James and Micah, in afternoon, I was out in yard awhile playing, and was beat so didnt want to go to greek fest this yr. just relaxed. as had Marcus for PM. Sunday, got up and went to early church, after came home and made plan, then started on yard work. Then went to get soil, plants and got a lovely new Jasmin vine, uuummmm smelled soooo good. Then , when Marcus got here KK agreed to stay w him so Dad and I could go out to dinner. That was best dinner out Ive had w him alone in eons. I FINALLY relaxed and enjoyed a wonderful long island STOP ACTING SO SHOCKED TEEHEE, Even christian grannys need a little treat sometimes . We went to cheesecake factory , and tried the eggplant sandwich, and the Navaho sandwich, and calamari YUMMMMYYYY, and split a piece of cheesecake tho not as good as ones we make heheh . then we walked a bit and just held hands and even managed to kid about some stuff weve argued over for yrs then home, where Marcus woke up, Grumpy picked up and played with him till he fell back to sleep. and was just SOOOOO Plleasant. Honestly, its best nite weve shared in a long while. And even began beautifully again today. Too bad we have to send him back to work. I ALWAYS hated that question for Any reason!!!! and you are Not alone. Many ladies dont pay attention to those dates, as many are irregular or just too busy to pay attention. They will measure you weigh you , examin you and then due the ultrasound . You just need to relax and go w the flow, get on your vitamins and take care of the two of you OK. Keep us posted and I for one am Happy for you . It just showed me something Really DEEP, about my life that I never paid attenion too before. I am SO AMAZED the ways God manages to get thru to me sometimes. Its a WOW!!!!! Thing ..... antygamma Joined: 1/11/07 Posts: 3827	Title: Biggest problem in today's schools Posted: 2 yearss ago OK Personally, taking prayer, Gods Name used in Honour and Respect, and the 10 commandments BIGGEST problem as after that whats left that teaches morality and truism? We can teach Evolution, and celebrate Halloween , but Ive personally seen the kids be punished or assignments returned if contained anything of Biblical nature, yet seen my kids asked to participate in many things I was taught was just wrong. I have also seen good people fired for pointing students to a loving but firm God .Our countrys laws were written on those commandments, Prayer and the Pledge was Drilled into us as kids and a reverance for God and country was deeply ingrained. Now, its not politically correct to honor the Commandments, and yet its a surprize that our kids feel more lost and alone and confused than ever. sigh It saddens me greatly . As All the rest of the problems we are seeing are a direct result . I know many will not agree with this post. but thats ok . My daughters have actually tried to befriend a few kids while growing up and given them deoderant, and mouthwash, and Sammi pointers on fashion. Other times, they just came out and privately told peeps that this was an issue and I PRAY they were never cruel about it. I think its probably best way as if the teacher or parents are told, and get involved then, its probably more mortifying, tho sometimes its the only way. Blessings and prayers on this as is Never comfortable.
