Posted: 2 yearss ago hhnnnn This Still embarress me to this day I went to breakfast with my what 3 mth old daughter and my dad and his wife She decided to mimic my stepmom with quite cleary and loudly i might add "OH SH--T" She had her little head swathed in a pink blankie looking like a sweet little nun needless to say whole restaurant within hearing cracked up whie I blushed Shes going on 29 now My baby girl well I remember her first song New York New York before she could really talk That made me laugh OK Blessings oer all Phil 4:8 think on those things that are true,honest,just,pure,lovely and of good report,if there be any virtue any praise, think on these things prov.22:7 for as we think in our hearts ,so are we.... antygamma Joined: 1/11/07 Posts: 3827	Title: Seat Belts Save Lives -- Keri Sweeney Posted: 2 yearss ago Great reminder I was once in an accident that sent my car spinning went over median and stopped in opposite lane with my head up against passenger window facing oncomung traffic w my left hand stil on steering wheel and left foot still on break I think . I had no belt on . I was TRULY blessed as no one was seriousy hurt I only had a bump on head and sore muscles only injuries involved. No seatbelt on me that time It would have kept me in drivers seat at least. My Mom was in a deadly accident tho she was wearing her seatbelt. She was rearended by a seatbeltless driver in a work van . She was trapped and they had to cut her belt to free her everything was broken The guy who hit her was thrown thru his windshield , helped by supplies in his van , and only suffered broken ribs, legs[he was hanging out windshield by his knees] and cuts and bruises my mom was DOA. And accident occurred less than 2 mies from her home We buried on Valentines Day.. Now whats my position on seatbelts? I have to say that I believe they Do save Many lives but as all things there are times they actually can trap you and cause more harm Do I wear them? Always Yes and so do my passengers . But please remember to drive defensively, dont talk on cell phones with one hand while you drive, SLOW down on Icy wet roads and Dont drink and drive. Be safe not sorry God Bless you all I believe that had the driver who hit my mom on back ice been wearing his belt he'd also have been DOA due to injuries that would have occured had he not been knocked free. Posted: 2 yearss ago OK lets start with Sat Itll begin with getting all ready and off to Upwards Basketball games My hubby coaches and often refs for other games our Lydia plays on afternoon game , then its off to ODU game for my hubby while I get house straitened and then cook or go out Sun its church by 830 am go grocery shopping and other errands Oh and try to get more Christmas decorations put up lol neighbors are getting ready for mutiny ... I often thought she alone was responsable for her sons tragic life and death doing dope around and with him , sex, nudity all the immoral things she involved him in. Yet... she was once a normal girl, well loved and loving by and for her family. Always by God the Father. I for one only pray that her baby girl escapes her mommies legacy and curses I see little comparison between her and Marilyn save they were both sad. And track marks were found on her arms surprize surprize. Such a waste. Now the baby will be subject to the drama over her paternity and all the suspicious actions, secrets and fighting over her families deaths her paternity How I pray deliverance for that innocent baby sigh. We can turn it off, change the channels toss the papers. And try our best to keep tabs on our own, and our own faith lived up That we can make a difference and try to stop others from starting or helping them escape such tragic lives. antygamma Joined: 1/11/07 Posts: 3827	Title: valentine's day not just for couples Posted: 2 yearss ago wow this is first Valentines day I wil be doing stuff with my kids again not my own mind you but my adopted babies at church at home I am planning some sweet treats already trying to figure out how to do pics for moms that am and litte treats safe and healthy to show Gods love its gonna be fun. i used to make chocolate heart shaped cake w peanut butter icing from scratch for my family and candlelit dinners. it was fun for me at least I think I will try to find time to make cake for my hubby and eldest who lives w us still this year. And may you all find someone to share some extra treat with perhaps some elderly in a nearby nursing home or shut in in your neighborhood or send a lonely person some flowers annonomously thats aways fun but show Gods love to someone and you Wil feel rewarded in your souls Be Blessed Phil 4:8 think on those things that are true,honest,just,pure,lovely and of good report,if there be any virtue any praise, think on these things prov.22:7 for as we think in our hearts ,so are we.... My mom always used soap in our mouths it worked on most of us cept my sister who learned to like soap lol I personally favored hot sauce for potty mouths. Nowadays I simply explain and get Very firm on Dont let me hear that outa your mouths again I must sound pretty scary or else my charges just now I mean it as I seldom hear bad words I always first remind that Jesus doesnt like it when we say do certain things and we dont want to do things He wont like . As i try to keep Him in everything that actually works very nicely for 3 thru 12 year olds I currently have Phil 4:8 think on those things that are true,honest,just,pure,lovely and of good report,if there be any virtue any praise, think on these things prov.22:7 for as we think in our hearts ,so are we....
