It is amazing to believe that my baby is 7 months old! She is now signing "mommy" and "daddy", teasing our dogs, and walking with help.
I do find it odd, however, that she would rather stand up than be on her stomach or even try to crawl. Everyone thinks she is going to skip crawling. It would not surprise me, because she will stand holding on to our coffee table for a good 5 minutes!
I believe that her signing mommy and daddy is exceptional. I started signing ASL with her when she was three months old. Doing so on a regular basis has allowed her to learn the signs. Even though she hears just fine, I think that it helps us communicate with one another better. She actually understands the signs she makes and can connect them with me or Jimmy.
Summer has been great! She has a little inflatable pool she adores! We went to the city pool and she loved it! She is my water baby :) I will post pics of her in her pool soon.
