Ovulation/No Period

Ok so here is my story.....

I am 24 yrs old with 1 child.  I had a miscarriage before I got pregnant with my son.  Up until my miscarriage I never had a problem with my periods. Then after my miscarriage my periods seem to go from 30 days apart to about 40-50 days.  So I went to the dr and she decided since we were trying to get pregnant only thing we could do was put me on prenatals and see what happens.  I went on the prenatals and within a month I was pregnant with Blayne.

So after I had him I started on birth control and took it for 8 months.  I went off of it b/c we were ready to start trying again.  I went 3 months without a period.... SO went to the drs and she told me sometimes with birth control it takes a few months so after that a week or so I had one.  Then I had 2 more and then didn't have anymore.  February of this year was 4 months without a period.....So again I went to the dr's she gave me a pill that I had to take to 'jumpstart' a period.  So I took that for 10 days and still didn't have one so she referred me to a specialist.  So between that appt I ended up bleeding for 4 days but it didn't seem normal. So I went to the specialist back in April and she gave me another pill to ;jumpstart' a period well that one made me have one quicker than the other pill. So of course now it has been 40+ days since I last had one and she ordered a bunch of bloodwork.  When I got a call last week the nurse told me that the bloodwork shows I was ovulating.....

So now there are a bunch of ?s in my head that I can't seem to get an answer.  My biggest one is WHY am I not bleeding if in fact I am ovulating?????

So in the end I am going to the dr's on the 23rd for a follow up appt where I can ask all the ?s I want answers to.  Hopefully I will get all the answers I need in order to feel good.  It has been a year and I really am having the baby blues.....
