The Eating Habits of a 4 Month Old

Well, I must first start by saying that I am in love with my daughter.  She is the light of my life and fills my entire heart.  But the first baby food feed was very interesting.  Let me say that peas do not come out of a white blouse no matter how much bleach and stain remover you try.  My daughter did not enjoy her first taste of strained peas and returned the favor by spitting them all over me.  It was the cutest thing I have ever seen.  I do believe she hates peas more than she hates to sleep through the night.  I never thought that a tiny little four month old could turn completly green in a matter of minutes.  There were more peas on her and on me and all over the kitchen that she actually ate.  It was the best food fight that I have ever had.  I love to watch her discover new things and this was a milestone that will be never be forgotten.  I never thought I would get so excited about strained peas.  I learned a valuable lesson from all of this experience: cherish the little things.  My daughter and I will always have this story together.  That is something that no one else will be able to share with her and when she is old enough to have completely forgotten this moment thats when I will be there to share with her the story about the Princess and the Pea...our own special version.
