Did anyone hear about that mom that put her child in the oven. I have only caught glimpses of it on the news, but it was so sick and sad. They should charge her with attempted murder. How can someone do something like that. Makes me so angry.

Anyone seen or talked about this? Anyone know about this?

I have heard of it happening before. I have heard a mom doing that but with a microwave.

Its disgusting and heartbreaking to hear this.

A co-worker told me the story this morning, it is very distubring and so sad for the little girl.  Apparently she was mad at her boyfriend (the baby's father) because he is leaving her, so she greased the baby, placed her in the oven, turned it on, and left the house.  The father ran around frantically looking for her because he could hear her crying.  He found her, from what my co-worker said she had cuts on her head and some burns...

It is an unthinkable story, hopefully the family will really help this little girl as she gets older to heal from the emotional wounds this probably will cause.

 

How could someone EVER do this?  It just makes me sick to my stomach - unthinkable. 

Proof again that you should have to take a test and get a license before you can become a parent.

So many kids are with people athat are not able to deal with day to day life for themselves, let alone a small, innocent child.



 

People do the most dumbest things when it involves children. And thinking that harming a child is the best way to get back at another parent is just f'd up. I hope she is stuck in jail for the rest of her life. Lucky that the father found the baby in time.

She greased the baby up? You have to be a very sick person to do that to any living creature, let alone your own baby.

I think that the idea of getting a license and taking some tests before being allowed to have children might not be such a bad idea. Seriously, there are alot of people out there that should not be having children. To hurt an innocent baby like that, I'd hate to be that person when it comes to their judgement day.

Obviously no sane person could do something like that.  I mean that seriously too.  There need to be coping mechanisms that parents should be taught.  Lots of people can't handle having children and I mean mentally handle children.  Just like alcohol and drug abuse, there needs to be something for parents that abuse children, themselves, others.  Parents need outlets.  Tom Cruise is a freak to think that if you watch your diet and exercise you will never have post-pardom or you will never go insane.  He is the perfect example as to why he is wrong.  He watches his diet and exercises, yet he seems to be insane!  Instead of judging people all the time, we need to put ourselves into their shoes and see how we as a society can help.  I apologize if my comments are abrasive.
