Oh, these are sooooooo good. My friend Aimee is coming over to drop some off at the house. I am going to have her sit with me for a few minutes and share the recipe. Should have that on here later today for all to enjoy! H.H. all!

I tried making those 1 year and they didnt turn out too good. I got the recipe from MarthaStewart.com I dont know what I did wrong, but they just seemed chewy, they didnt really crunch up. I'll have to try your recipe. Hopefully I can get it right this time!!Laughing

Absolutely. It isn't mine, it's my one of my girlfriends. It's actually there family recipe. She gave me a hard time about giving it up, but she promised to email it to me. I will post it when I get it. They are so good, you're going to love them. Promise to bug her again and get it posted. Excellent New Year's party snack.

Oh yeah. She sent it to me. She told me that this is their secret family recipe. All i know is that they are really good. Very, very, very tasty. Someone try them out and let me know what you think! Here's her email.

Sally, here are the ingredients and the directions. Enjoy the recipe. I want your salisbury steak recipe now!

Ingredients for the Popcorn Balls:
2 cups corn syrup
2 tablespoons of vinegar (this is our family secret!)
1-¾ cups granulated sugar
½ cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 quarts popped corn

Instructions:
Combine the corn syrup, sugar, vinegar and water together. Boil these. You want to stop boiling once a little of the mix, when tried in cold water, forms a hard ball.  Once that happens, add the vanilla.

At the same time, take the 4 quarts of popped corn, REMOVE ALL UNPOPPED KERNELS (you don't want to break your teeth. Pour the finished sauch into the popped corn,

Stir until coated. Rub your hands with corn oil. Form the corn into medium sized balls, pressing closely together.

Sit on the couch and enjoy the sweetness that is my family's popcorn balls. If my mom knew I was giving this to you, she'd kill me.
