Dear God! How horrible for that child. How could they sleep through something like that. It doesnt matter if the pup did it or the ferret.

I hope those parents are punished severely.

Granted they were new parents, and perhaps not yet in tune with the difference between a baby crying out for food or because a diaper is dirty and a baby SCREAMING IN TERROR AS ITS TOES ARE BEING GNAWED OFF BY A WILD ANIMAL, but come on.  'Sleeping in a car seat next to them on the mattress'?  Yet they can afford a pit bull AND a ferret.

When is the mandatory 'test before parenthood' bill being introduced? 

Wow....I am amazed how ignorant people can be.  I can't belive that they did not have a crib for the child to sleep in. And not to hear your child screaming.....these kinds of storys make me sick.  So many people out there, my sister included that have been trying for years to get pregnate or can't get pregnate and these lucky people get to have a kid.  I know accidents will happen but this is ridicuous.

I have always said that people need to be tested before becoming parents. All boys and girls should automatically be put on birth control measures that is full proof and reversible and then when proven they can be fit parents, then we can reverse it.

I tried to adopt a kitten from Petsmart for my daughter one time, and since I only wanted one, and did not have another cat already at home, they would NOT let me adopt one.  However, people like this can have a baby, and have something like this happen - the sadder thing, is the child service center will give the child back with the saying "It is better for a child to be with it's natural parents."

Poor baby!

Some  parents need more than Jesus raising kids. (Sorry, don't mean to sound ugly.)
