This will be something that we will probably face a bit. I'm guessing that you added them to you buddy list here in the forum? But they didnt' show up on your profile? If that is correct, it is because the forum operates a little separately from mommytalk profiles. They interact but are different software engines. Now, I doubt you care much about that, so if your question is how to add freinds, go to their profile. You will get an option there to invite them. Also you can search for them and the invite option will come up. I hope this helps! The views prestented by this poster do not represent the views of this or any other organization. Just scroll through profiles or search for your friends using their user name. When you are viewing their profile, you can invite them to be your friends. It shows up near their friend section. You can also send them a private message to talk by clicking send private message, under your member options on the right hand side. It was pretty easy to invite people to join my network and send them messages. | |

Not at all!
Great question.
Now that you know, you can tell everyone else.

I told my family and friends to sign up. You can also invite them by clicking on "invite" in the top bar of options. You get an email that you can send to your friends. I told them my username in the email, so that once they signed up, they could search (also in the top) for my profile by typing in my username. They get to a page that they see my pic and name, and can go to my profile and send me an invitation to join my friends. Also, if your profile is locked to only allow friends and family to view, it will pull up a page saying so. They can shoot you an email for you to accept them and give them access to your page. For security and privacy. Yeah, build your friends list. Makes it easy to see your friends pages and communicate to each other. : ) |
