Hello - I am a 35 year old mother of 3.  My youngest is 6 months and nursing full time.

My doctor biopsied two large tumors from my right breast Friday.  I have continued to nurse from the effected breast...and will do so until it is removed, if it comes to that.

Anyway - awaiting results and would love to chat with anyone who has something to chime in about on this topic.

I was talking to Jyl Steinbeck earlier - 'America's Healthies Mom' who contributed a feature article about breast cancer a few weeks back. She gave me this website ... as one of the best she knows of for info.

I'd be interestd to know what others here know...

Well - results were malignant.  Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.  My oncologist is starting chemo for me on Jan 2.  Followed in ten weeks by a modified radical mastectomy and then more chemo.

 Beginning to wean my precious 7 month old now.

 Anyone else on this site a survivor??

April I am so sorry for what you are going through...My prayer group will be praying for you.....I know this is hard for you I know the world just became so different.......But you have to lay your pain and worries at Jesus feet......You can do this you can beat this........You will be blessed from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet....

You have a support group here out side of your family.....us women stick together when one needs help. We are here for you.......

I had Ovarian Cancer and then they did a complete Hysterectomy on me...including my cervix.......It was a very hard thing for me to go through I went into depression I was a mess youc ouldn't look at me with out me crying.....But that didn't last long.....I prayed...I prayed.....and I prayed.....It lifted the spirit in me to have encourageing words and strong (stronger) beliefs.  We as mothers parents and family members need to keep that spirit alive and strong for our kids for the strong line of love that we carry through us.  You will be a survior...you will wear PINK a heck of alot more then you do now.......Keep saying it over and over  "I have already beaten it"  now you have to go through some changes......but our minds are so powerful.........."You have already beaten this"......

For all those who went thru this w April ,      Im Very Sad to  report  the cancers  reappeared   this time  in the lymph good news its in one spot so can still treat  bad news  chronic  stage 4 and minus miracle of Lord  she will have to undergotratments remainder of her life ... I SO LOVE this Brave Inspirational woman!!! And her darling kids , her great family ... Shes very blesssed w  wonderful loving encouraging friends  ... and Im posting this now  because she REALLY needs our support , our prayers   and   Lotsa love ... Im crying as I type  that one so young , w 3 babies   must endur this cross ... but also with great  love and pride oer her asbsolutely inspiring  Can Beat This w Gods help attitude ... Shes truly a Tigger  not an Eeyore ... Im Very blessed to call her my friend, my extended family ... as are some you so blessed  to know her ... So please  get her on prayer lists , at your churches  and fight  this in prayer with us  for her  .. Thank You ... Any Great thoughts and encouragement welcome  

Oh my gosh!!! I am so sorry to hear this. I hope and pray that they can cure it again!!! There are so many different medications and chemo's they can use.

I had cancer in my lymphnodes too. And I am cancer free. Been so for almost a year now.

 

I know Keri praise the Lord for your cure ... and for her  over  yr break ... .. Shes been told this type wont be cured , its Chronic, but it can go into remission and stay there for long periods .. My MIL had to stay on chemo after hers reappeared also for rest of her life ...  But  God CAN TOTALLY HEAL her still   Nothings Impossible with Him    and thats my prayers for her ... Micahs just turned 2 this spring and  she needs her momma!! As does Mo and Jack

I don't know her, but just from her original post, I'm positive I'd love to know her!  Prayers up for her and her family at this very difficult time!!

I am truly sorry for her and her family's pain. I really know how this effects the whole family but att he same time makes everyone stronger and closer. I really pray that she feels better. Tell her that we are there for her and her family praying and wishing her well.
