Title: Stay-at-Home Jobs
Posted: 2 yearss ago

I am a full-time mom and I want to contribute to my family's income since my husband is currently in school, but due to our current situation I am unable to leave my child alone or in daycare. So I am wondering if anyone knows of any stay-at-home jobs? I cannot afford to pay for any specialized schooling or materials nor do I have the time for it. I would just like to start right away. If anyone can help me out, please let me know. Thank you!

Hi, have you considered baby sitting other children? It might be a good way to make some extra money and help your baby adapt to other children?

That's a good one. You might want to start your own daycare as well.

That is really a good idea! Unfortunately, I discussed the idea with my husband and he said no. Frown

I might know of a work from home job. I'm getting the details this weekend. Basic network marketing, but a very good company, all natural products, and so on. Glad to let you know if you are interested!

This might not be the best idea because it does cost about $150 bucks in the beginning I think. But I have a friend that discovered scrap booking through creative memories. She is a SAHM with 3 young kids. She host the parties at her house and supplies all the scrapbook goodies. She charges anywhere from $10-$100 per person depending on the theme and time of year like holidays. She makes good money and even gets to put books together for herself. I guess its like selling Avon but way more fun. You get to set your own hours. Anyway, the site to check out is www.creativememories.com ...

This is a great stay at home job. You get to choose when you work and who you work for. Here is a link to the site. This company appeared on the Today show. Plus I know 3 people who work for this company and love it. http://www.alpineaccess.com/external/index.html Good luck. Heather

There are so many jobs that you can do. I sell Mary kay on the side and love it. You just have to find what is right for you. You have to love the product that you are selling or you will not be good at selling. I htink the key to selling products is to sell consumable stuff. That way you can get a good costumer base and they will always come back for more. Good luck with what ever you decide and if you are interstead in learning more about MK, PM me and I will be happy to fill you in.

Well, you should never have to pay any money up front to do anything at home. That's the first rule of working at home. There are surveys you can take that pay (not very well of course, but I do this from time to time) and there are companies like Mary Kay and Avon that you can sell for a small profit. If you look on craigslist.org, you may find some telecommuting jobs as well. I'm going to be stay at home mom as of next week after 9 years in my law office, so I'm making the adjustment myself. Good luck.
