I was absolutely shocked when I heard this story on the news.  The video interview is what gets me.  Hearing no emotion in the little boys voice does not make me think of him as a cold blooded killer, it makes me think that he does not realize that death is permanent, that a gun can kill someone and you can't come back from death.

I have only heard / listened to the headlines and refuse to read or listen to the full story - what gets me more than the boy actually doing this is the media. 

It is a tragic story that is like some movie being played real time with no real emotion from anyone involved and it is demonstrates the state of our news outlets.  There are families whose lives have just changed - they should not have to deal with every details being unfolded during the investigation and I do not understand how they could play the video interview of the child on the news <2 weeks after the killing.  Doesn't that interfere with the investigation or a fair proceeding for justice?

The whole thing, all the way around, makes me sick.

I watched the full video yesterday. It's horrible that he wasn't allowed a guardian or an advocate in his interview. And the interviewer absolutely coerced him. That poor child's mother... bless her heart. That child is innocent until proven guilty, and I don't think that they'll be able to prove him guilty. An 8 year old could not fire a 22 at two different men and not have a bruise on his shoulder.

And has anyone asked him why he routinely walks around the neighborhood for over an hour until his mom is about to come home? Is he avoiding being at home with the dad? This case hasn;t been handeled well at all.

 I know nothing of the story but i just want to say that yes a child can fire a 22 and not have a bruise had he been trained properly ... Bradley goes shooting on a regular basis and fires many guns with out a problem and marks he fires guns ranging form 22 t0 12 gage. he has been shooting for a lil over a yr now. and he is 6 now.

 

I should go on to say that it soundslike this poor kid has been treated unfairly inthe system... and that s just not cool... hopefully evrything will work out for him...

I cried!! I think its very sad that this is goign on. He doesn't understand anything of what is going on. He learned how to use a gun due to his dads theachings. He did what he did out of tantrums and not trying to get something out of it. As far as him confesing, why until know. I think that the law munipulated him into confesing. I did not see a lwayer there. Isnt it true that you cant speak without one present. Yes he did it but why make it harder for him by video taping it. And why did it have to go to the media, wha were they trying to prove to the worl. They did this all wrong. Im just hoping they don't punish him as an adult, even though he has to pay for what he did I just hope they don't give him the harsh punishment!! O, god I feel for him.

I know, there is too much that we don't know, obviously, to make any judgement.  He gets to go spend Thanksgiving with his mom and the relatives of one of the victims are PISSED!  How can adults be so cold hearted to a CHILD?!  He is still a CHILD and they want to lock him up and throw away the key...  A** holes!!

He's 8 years old! There's no way that he should be put away forever. It makes no sense. I'm glad he gets to spend Thankgiving with his mom, I can't imagine being in her shoes.

 Here is a current update .. This is truly disturbing .. Yes History has shown that there are little ones seemingly broken emotionly  to be not only capable but  truly guilty of some horrible crimes .. however I think this does not seem to be case here .. There is so MUCH wrong I heard interveiw when it happened and it definately appeared child was coerced and led what to confess.. which happens often in many cases .. Seems illegal to me the way he was even questioned .. and I am certainly hoping  he gets somewhere where he can be fairly evaluated, and treated No matter his feelings about dad , spanks etc.. he was traumatized in simply finding  the guy . In the society of blood and guts we live in .. It very well can be hard to determine reality in death .. Its horrid no matter what .. yet my heart says boy was boy was abused and possibly more thanI wanna think w 2 men involved.. and I dont believe he did it at this point either .
